Well, as much as you hate to see it Brad Allen's Officiating crew changed the outcome of yet another game this year. In last night's Lions vs Cowboys game, you clearly see in the video that #69 is told in the huddle to go report to the ref as eligible and he walks over to the ref, and the Ref is then seen going and telling the Cowboys about the eligible receiver. Well, he catches the 2-point conversion and the Lions go ahead with 23 secs left. But No, the same ref then turns around and claims an illegal touching of the ball by an O-lineman (even though he reported it). I was going to put in a video but you can clearly search it. I am waiting for the Adam Schefter video from ESPN this morning.
But was that the only time his crew had game-ending calls that were questionable? Well, remember the Packers Vs Chiefs game? Guess who was officiating that game? Yup, Brad Allen's crew. But wait there is more. Another clear Pass Interference call should have been called against the Falcons vs Saints that wasn't called. Bears vs Browns end of the 1st half Fields lets a Hail Mary go and then gets destroyed by Myles Garrett which is a late hit. The Bears were at the Cleveland 37 and with 15 yards it was a chip shot FG and an easy 3. The Bears lost by 3.

All these calls were just from this year and have changed the outcomes of games, so in the end, if we get them in Chicago hopefully Vegas says they are on our side.

But with all this saying the Lions had the game won, Kick FGs and you win lol. Inside the 5 and 4th down they go and fail, they failed another time in FG range, and you just went down the field on the Cowboys so even after the Bogus flag kick the FG. (side Note) I think the rules need to be changed Lions get an illegal touching for 5 yards and then the Cowboys get offsides which should be 5 yards but were only given half the distance, how is that fair lol.

Here is a video from what I watched this morning

Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

The consultant dude on TV said there were three infractions on that Lions two point try.

Why do teams have to have OL report anyway? It seems like a power move by the officials.

2. Because otherwise offenses could have tackle become eligible (who otherwise would not have been) simply by have the edge receiver step off the line while a wide out or TE on the other side steps onto the Line of Scrimmage thereby changing who is eligible. It is fair and reasonable for the defense to know who the eligible receivers are as the huddle is being broken.

Go Packers!!!!

Michael Strahan made a good point. Maybe Dan Campbell knew he doesn't really gain much with a Win or Loss because they're guaranteed a home playoff game no matter what. So, why risk the players by going to overtime when you can end it right here, right now.

If that is the mindset of the HC ... I am on board with it. Although, I would have kicked extra point after that flag. We tried it once, it worked, but cat is out of the bag.

It seems inconsistent as it stills happens from time to time, but I miss when players who are reporting as eligible are announced by the refs.

Now let's just look at this money-wise for the NFL and the push for the Cowboys. The Cowboys next face the Redskins which should be a win and with the Eagles loss today will have the #2 seed. With the #2 seed, they will get home games until the NFC Championship game in SF. So money wise you are talking about a stadium that can hold up to 100,000 people per game. That's a lot of cash for the NFL. But now what does it mean for the Cowboys themselves? Look at their record they are 8-0 at home and score an average of 37 pts per game and on the road they 3-5 and average 21 pts per game. The 3 wins came against the Giants, Chargers and Panthers. So you tell me where the NFL wants the Cowboys to play? Just thought it was an interesting little find.

you see, this is why conspiracy theories falls deaf when it comes to basic knowledge. Its called conspiracy theory for a reason. Only nut heads think the NFL is rigged and especially rigged for the Cowboys to win even though their last SB win was when DVD's were a new technology...Oh, i can also count on one hand how many playoff wins they've had the past 28 years...

but yea, NFL has rigged it for Cowboys to win *rolls eyes*

I'm all for a good conspiracy theory ... this just isn't one. The NFL is a greed machine, but they're also over $10 billion annually and if were to get out they were manipulating games ... it would all come crashing down. The NFL finds other ways to bleed the money (e.g. Christmas Day game, Thursday Nights, Black Friday, etc).

Not to mention Cowboys haven't won a playoff game since the 90's right prior to last season, right? And wasn't it Jerry Jones who was trying to get Rodger Goodell fired/replaced? So I just don't see this NFL wanting Cowboys to win. It doesn't make sense.

Yep, Refs absolutely screwed that up.

#68 reported to be an eligible receiver, while the Ref's eyes were ignoring him and looking at #70.

#70 never reported as being an eligible receiver, but the Refs falsely told the Cowboys that it was #70 that was eligible.

So the Refs screwed that play up for BOTH sides, not just the Lions. Because the Lions scored, but the Cowboys had absolutely no idea the Lions thought the LT was eligible, because based on rules and what the Refs told him, he was not eligible. So the Cowboys were screwed too, so you can't just give the Lions those points, because they made an illegal play based on what the Refs ruled per-snap.

In theory the Refs should of announced #70 is an eligible receiver over the loud speakers, and multiple people on the Lions should of said, wait a freaking second, that's not what we said... it's #68.

So the Refs screwed the teams, not just the Lions IMO.
