First off, I'm questioning the play calling on both sides of the ball after the Giants game.
On offense, so many horizontal run plays, which worked extremely well in the 1st quarter, but almost no at all afterwards and they kept trying them over and over. And the 2 point conversation, when Love got it into the end zone twice, then suddenly take it out of his hands for a play the Giants had been stopping for 3 quarters, why?
On defense, seemed like they kept trying the same things and expecting different results. I was really wanting to see them to run blitz, which would hopefully stop a RB or hopefully a mobile QB from escaping.
As for players:
1) LT: When Love gets uncomfortable, he is currently seemingly getting "happy feet" and that's bad for his throwing. And Bakhtiari MIGHT be back, and Walker MIGHT grow into the role... I would like a sure answer or another option still.
2) DT: Need to stop the Run, and this defensive scheme leaves the DL on an island instead of leaving CBs in an island, so the DL has to be extremely talented and handle business themselves, and they simply aren't there.
3) RG/OC: Protect Love and help the running game
4) RB: Because Dillon is a FA and Jones will need to take a pay cut.
5) Safety: So many of the vets are FAs.
