They're built to rush the passer, so their run defense might be a bit weak, especially against teams like the Falcons that were built to run the ball (and especially when the offense keeps going 3 and out).

BUT they're pretty good at getting pass rush pressure... and these were from BEFORE the Saints game, so they might just have gotten better.

Today's win begins with shut down defense. Before the final drive that ended in a missed FG the Saints punted on all 5 possessions. They had a total of 22 plays for 54 yards on those drives.

Nothing is wrong with the defense at all. It has talent across the board. Its the person who runs it that's the problem. Barry is getting carried by the talent he has. I never have and never will like his signing.

I'll wait to see when they actually play an explosive offense. They play good against the bears. Let's be honest. This defense isn't gonna win us any championships. If the qb doesn't go down we would have gotten blown out.

That QB put up ten points and got their lone offensive TD on a short field cuz we went for it on fourth down.

Recall also that 7 of their points came on that punt return.

beast (30-Jan) : College Coaches wouldn't want that publicly, as it would hurt recruiting and they might not get the job.
beast (30-Jan) : I thought they were supposed to publicly announce them, at least the NFL ones. Hafley was from college, so I believe different rules.
Mucky Tundra (30-Jan) : Who knows who they're interviewing? I mean, nobody knew about Hafley and then out of nowhere he was hired
