I resigned myself to the Packers being ho-hum this season. The more I hear the national dorks talk like this. The more my expectations are being difficult to temper.

i can see a 2008 repeat season. overall record will look worse than how the team really is.

That is kind of where my expectations are too. Basically, if we hit around 8 to 9 wins, I think that's a success. Providing the team looks better the final four games than they did the first four.  If we're still making the same mistakes end of season as we did early in the season ... WHAT WE DOIN HERE!!!

I was thinking something similar with a 7-10 record. 



I tried to do the same. I tried to remind myself how hard playing QB for a first time starter is. Then the reports from training camp and how much better Love looked in the pocket. The footwork was there with looking through is progressions. Always finding the open man and taking whatever the defense gave him. Then it carried over into games against the Bengals and Patriots. With some of these young pass catches flashing as well, I'm finding it hard not to see them taking the division. Dangerous thinking I know but what can I say other than

The thing I like is there is really no expectations from most of the fans.

This is preseason, I'm thinking we the fans haven't seen much of the offense that Matt LaFleur will unveil week one.

I have no expectations, but will not be surprised going into the week six bye, The Packers could be 4-1 or dare I say 5-0.

As far as "The talking heads" in the media.....anyway the wind blows. "What they say" doesn't really matter to me!!
