"We" don't get to decide. The front office has never said that they plan to keep Jenkins at LG forever. Least I don't recall hearing them say it.

So, I think WE need to stop pining for moving our stud LG around and let the guy rock out where he's at. And WE can only HOPE that the damn coaches stop trying to out smart themselves. I'm all for giving guys a shot at different positions (SIDETRACK: High School coach had Barry Sanders at DB, new one came in and said, nope, not anymore, we're gonna put you at RB and see how you do) because sometime it works out, sometimes it doesn't ala Rasul Douglas on the inside.
One of the things that irked me about Packers drafts is taking Tackles and moving them inside. It didn't seem like a one off here and there. It felt like it was almost a GOAL of theirs.
I guess to better summarize what my point is here is I want masters, not jacks of all trades. And I think you have a higher chance of achieving greatness when you are more singularly focused on one goal.
Hell, I even contradicted myself here a bit because I said I thought WE liked Zach Tom for LT and the dude was an interior lineman! But that's what I mean. You can try, but have to be quick to go back. And I think with Jenkins, we've tried and its' time to stop moving him around. The pairing of Zach Tom at LT and Elgton Jenkins at LG seemed to be pretty damn strong duo. I could be mistaken though.
