The momentum is building for the Green Bay Packers to trade legendary quarterback Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets.

Per sources. Aaron Rodgers and the Jets had conversations today. While nothing is imminent Rodgers is open to the idea of going to NY

Rodgers won Super Bowl 6th year in NFL. Rumored to be traded to Jets after starting 15 seasons with Packers.
Love will win Super Bowl 6th year in NFL. Likely to be traded to Jets in 2038.

I have spoken.

Edit, I have spoken in error. Favre won Super Bowl in his 5th year starting, not 3rd. I had to change from 'starting' to 'in NFL' to fit my narrative. See how you can change stats to fit your agenda? 😉

Also heard we might get DeAndre and/or Brandin Cooks. 🤔

With all the high profile TEs in this draft, our offense could round out nicely for Love, even bearing in mind, it takes TEs a couple years to get up to speed.

I say we get a 1st and 3rd for Love in 2038. That two trillion we will be paying him for the 2038 season I find excessive, as he's slipping, and that ai robot we drafted looks good to go.

Just to be clear, Cooks remaining contract is 2 years for $39.75 million of which $36 million is guaranteed.

I could be wrong, but I don't think any team is trading much for Cooks when he's basically making $20 per season and over 90% of it is already guaranteed and therefore can't be negotiated downward.

If he wants a trade, he's going to work out a new contract with his new team and they're probably going to reduce that salary and guarantees. As Cooks currently making the 15th most for a WR, but not in the top 40 of any one stat (which is partly because he's on a bad team, but that's also why he got way over paid).

Sorry to derail this topic and mention Rodgers, but this is interesting.

Sounds like Packers are 100% supportive of whatever Aaron decides.
