This is something that bugs me.
The TD celebrations like we saw in the Cowboys game.
Aaron Jones doing that sideways leap into the end zone. That is unnecessary and could lead to a serious shoulder injury if he lands wrong
Christian's backflip in the end zone.
You land wrong and there goes an ankle or knee injury.
I don't mind a Lambeau leap, or other celebrations, but ones that can cause a serious injury to me are stupid.
If I was the coach, I'd put an end to those kinds of things immediately.
There are already too many ways to get hurt in football then to take unnecessary risks that really have no upside.
What do you guys/gals think? Am I offbase on this?

You will not find a better or classier TD celebration than you will by this man who scores.

It wouldn't let me view it, but if I was a betting man, I'd bet everything that it's a video of Barry Sanders!😁

Kevin, I didn't have to view it! I know you, and your love for Sanders, so it was a no brainer!
and I knew from watching Sanders play, that that was the kind of guy he was.  He wasn't a show boater, "LOOK AT ME"  kind of guy.
Just class and rare talent.
To think he wasted that career on lousy Lions teams is a shame. He should have had super bowl rings to go with that.

Jones' celebration was a tribute to Marshan Lynch.
I'll give Watson a one time pass.

I guess he was checking to make sure that 800lb gorilla was finally off his back.

I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!

As a rule I don't like the celebrations in the end zone. Seems childish to me. Act like you've been there before. Then again, I'm a curmudgeon so I keep my mouth shut and let the little boys have fun. The ones I dislike the most are the pre-planned group stuff.
As for the two Cheesey spoke of, I don't mind a guy diving into the endzone. It's hot dogging but I will accept it. After all the hits a player takes in a game the odds of dislocating a shoulder on an endzone dive is low. (It's not zero but it's low.)
The backflip was pretty cool. Then again I watched The Wizard of Oz do it on every opening day so I am biased. A backflip in full football gear is pretty impressive. Ozzy Smith got a running start before his flips. CW, not at all.
Just to take it full circle, if this was a playoff contending team and both players went on IL for said playoffs I wouldn't be happy.
