Oh boy. This will never happen barring injury.

He actually makes some good points. He says Packers should start Jordan Love if they lose to Cowboys. Reason is to put Jordan Love on show. If he sucks, top 10 pick to draft next QB. If he is good, you trade him for young cheap talent to help Rodgers. And says Rodgers can look like the good guy, good teammate by saying it's best for them to see what Love can do while saving his body from hits.

That makes sense. I mean, if he busts an ACL, crap right?

Could we have gotten less than 3 INTs against the Lions with Love?

Love is close to ready, not necessarily straight up ready. But all he has to do is hit the open guy.

Bear in mind. All we'd have had to do it take the FGs in these games and we would be 5-4 right now.

Will Love permit Matt to adhere to fundamentals?

I like everything except why the hell would you trade Love if he performs well?  If he proves he is the better QB, he should start.  It sucks to bench a 50 million investment but that is the consequence of what is looking more and more like a terrible contract.

Just bench Rodgers and be done with it!
He's washed up!
I'm getting to the point where I don't even want to watch the Packers games with him behind center..

Might as well keep Rodgers out there.  Or maybe you put in Love and just run vanilla for the draft pick and ruin Love's career but I don't want to speculate too far.

After seeing Jordan Love in practice through 2020 and 2021 and extending Aaron Rodgers to that massive contract? 😬 That says they don't believe Love is there yet, or they believe Love will just be happy backing up Rodgers throughout his rookie contract.

Based on what Gutekunst has done, I really don't think he gives a damn about looking bad. If he did care, the Packers wouldn't have released a 4th round pick after just one season.

I'll walk that back a little and say I do agree with you though that barring some cleverly worded story, they won't bench Rodgers in favor of Love due to the optics.

Rodgers has become a cancer in the locker room as reports have stated and to be honest isn't hard to see. Rodgers wouldn't take benching very well and would never do it for the team as he has never did anything to better the team. Just look at his contracts and you can see that. The best thing for the Packers would be to bench Rodgers let Love play out the year and see what you have and not for trading but for the future of the team. You really think Rodgers would be fine with sitting behind Love? He will either retire or demand a trade and you let him look to find a partner that will eat his contract.  We can pretty much guess Rodgers will not play out his contract.
As we have seen even his o-line is getting frustrated with Rodgers not handing the ball off and now the receivers are sick of his crap along with others that are tired of being called out. So he has to go and hope MLF can get the respect of the  team back or he might have to go also.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)
