I would love to see a couple of the "too short" QBs come up to play in Canada. Particularly Chase Daniel. It's a different game up here, and I am fan of that as well as the NFL. Shorter QBs often do well here - the very best to ever play this game was Doug Flutie. He was REALLY too short to play in the NFL, and did not fit the Pro Style offense at all.
I think that the NFL teams are at some point going to have to come to terms with the fact that they will be drafting more and more QBs that have not played in a Pro Style offense in college. Various spread offense schemes seem to be coming into vogue at more and more schools. I suspect that the development time of a new QB will become a year or two longer, and it will be difficult to draft QBs that are ready to step into a starting role in the league.
I am happy that Graham Harrell latched on somewhere. I really enjoyed watching his offense!
