So Adams says he won't play on the franchise tag? Name one WR/TE that did better after leaving Rodgers...Jennings? Jones? Cobb?
Nelson had an ok year with the Raiders, but nothing spectacular. Without #12 tossin him the ball, he will look very pedestrian.

techically you may be right,,,but that's quite a stretch....he went as far as the practice squad, so he never was tossed the ball in a reg season game.......Adams stats would never improve with any qb other than #12

If you were a knowledgeable Packer fan, you would know that answer. Look at Rodgers stats and the Packers record when Adams did not play

When Sterling Sharpe had to retire, Brett Favre credited that departure with him becoming a better QB because he couldn't just "look for 84" and heave it anymore. If you watch the Packers the last few seasons without 17 on the field, you'll see Rodgers spreading the ball around more and taking what the defense gives him. The offense actually looks more fluid and efficient. That sounds fooked up to even say that an offense looks more efficient without 17, but it's just a feeling. Maybe it feels that way to me because I don't always know where the ball will be going?
