Tom Brady 43 TD's, 5,316 yards with 12 INT's. Buccaneers went 13-4.
Aaron Rodgers 37 TD's, 4,115 yards with 4 INT's. Packers went 13-4.

I'm hoping Tom Brady gets the NFL MVP. I think it'll put a nice chip on Aaron Rodgers shoulders. šŸ˜‚

A 1000 yards means something. More than 100 completions. It means something. Tds mean something. Granted it is only 6 more but it is still more.

Brady got a goose egg against the Saints, Rodgers didn't...

And Rodgers at times was playing with four of his starting OL missing and arguably the best two defensive players too... and won more game .... and the Buccaneers lost to the Rams and Former Redskins and the Packers beat both of them. While the Buccaneers didn't beat any team the Packers lost to.

I don't know who'll get the trophy, but I don't think anyone can make a good argument that it shouldn't be Rodgers.

And that's not fan talking, but the best player (or second best if you want to put Adams as best), on the best team, that had a ton of injuries and still won anyways, and he's something like 35 or higher in Interceptions throws for the season, name one starter who's had less turn overs?

I get what you are saying Beast. No argument that Aaron is a very serious contender for the award. I think The Bum helped Aaron's cause.

Int's are important but not more so than Tds. You can toss an int and the other team do nothing with it. An int at the end of the half or game means nothing. Sorry it usually means very little. A td at the end of the half or game means more. Usually.

Looking the results of a team or two shouldn't sway the voters. Looking at the results for 16/17 games should.

Yes Aaron did have a makeshift line. Points for him. Banged up defense don't count.

Personally I want Rodgers to win the MVP. If I had a vote I would more than likely give the nod to Brady.

Well PFF had Tom Brady as 1st team QB All-Pro. And shockingly Joe Burrow as 2nd team All-Pro.

While PFT has Aaron Rodgers as it's MVP, even though Mike Florio decided to note a lot of negative non-football things as well about Rodgers. Here Florio's bottom line.

In addition to Brady, we also considered Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, who may soon be the perennial MVP for a Cincinnati franchise squarely on the rise. Still, the winner is Rodgers. Brady deserves it. Rodgers deserves it more. Setting aside all things unrelated to football (which hopefully most Associated Press voters did), itā€™s a no-brainer.

Article on Merciless' return.

Not sure how you rehab a torn bicep to repair faster, unless maybe it wasn't a complete tear.

I really like this guy. Hope he contributes.

Mucky Tundra (30-Jan) : Now that's a thought, maybe they're looking at the college ranks? Maybe not head coaches but DC/assistant DCs with league experience?
beast (30-Jan) : College Coaches wouldn't want that publicly, as it would hurt recruiting and they might not get the job.
beast (30-Jan) : I thought they were supposed to publicly announce them, at least the NFL ones. Hafley was from college, so I believe different rules.
Mucky Tundra (30-Jan) : Who knows who they're interviewing? I mean, nobody knew about Hafley and then out of nowhere he was hired
beast (30-Jan) : I wonder what's taking so long with hiring a DL coach, 2 of the 3 known to interview have already been hired elsewhere.

beast (23-Jan) : I wonder why the Jets always hire defensive coaches to be head coach
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Still HC positions available out there. I wonder if Hafley pops up for one
Zero2Cool (22-Jan) : Trent Baalke is out as the Jaguars GM.
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Jeff Hafley would have been a better choice, fortunately they don't know that. Someone will figure that out next off season
