There's nothing wrong with Rodger's having a viewpoint. However, there is plenty wrong with his particular viewpoint. Like thinking homeopathic water is equivalent to actual medicine. In any case, having an opinion is a two way street, especially when you shout your opinion to the world at large. As much as Rodger's is entitled to his opinion, people who don't agree with it are entitled to their opinion that he's full of shit.
He doesn't need to apologize for having an opinion, but I haven't seen anyone suggest he should. He did lie about being vaccinated though - which is different from having an opinion - and apologized about that.
I'll say it again - I respect Cousins and Beasley for having their opinions, stating them, and standing by them, even though I think the two of them are dog-fuckingly-stupid. It's the lying, not owning up to the lie, and then the eventual, insincere acknowledgement - probably egged on by his lawyer/agent, where I lose some amount of respect for Rodgers.
Here's the best bit - and I imagine the bit you'll enjoy. You're free to think I'm completely full of shit for my opinion of Rodger's opinion. And I'm free to not care what you think. Rodgers is free to not care as well, though I'm not sure if he's capable, which is perhaps his best and worst trait.
