It seemed that towards the last part of first half and through second half that Eric Stokes was on the field more often. His guy also wasn't really able to catch the ball. I thought Stokes looked decent and played better in the second half. Even knocking a ball out of the WR's hands on what surely would have been a catch.

From what I read the Packers broke out the dime defense with 2 DTs, 2 OLBers, 1 ILB, 6 DBs which got Stokes on the field more.

Also putting King and Alexander in the slot at times to open it up for Stokes.

Stokes absolutely has earned more playing time. Though I think the WRs have also dropped some passes before he's hit them and people are getting excited that he forced that, when really it was just a drop, that being said give him credit for being close enough to time it well and he has absolutely knocked some passes down.

Though I think Stokes also gave up a TD with bad communications as I think he was playing man while others were playing zone. But stuff happens and he's not used to being in there.

Edit, Kevin King was pushed off on a pass. I forget which one, I think it was a TD.

He's absolutely earned more playing time. There were miscues but Stokes didn't seem overwhelmed or completely lost on the field. He's gonna take some lumps vs better opponents but he's a rookie so you play him and let him learn.

I am not sure he can be out there much more than he was. Stokes was on the field 44/57 or 77%. King was out there 56/57 or 98%. They moved Alexander to the slot and put Stokes and King outside.
Like Beast said, they were in dime a lot so they both could play. I think I heard that was 23% of the plays. 2nd most to nickle. Alexander, Amos and Savage were also out there for 57 plays. Sullivan was the odd man out. He was on the field on 18 plays or 23% of the time.

edit- Henry Black was the only other db to play. 2 plays 4%.

dfosterf (5h) : I have some doubt about all that
dfosterf (5h) : I read De'Vondre Campbell's tweet this morning (via the New York Post) Florio says that if he invested his earnings wisely, he will be good
beast (20-Feb) : I haven't followed, but I believe he's good when healthy, just hasn't been able to stay healthy.
dfosterf (20-Feb) : Hasn"t Bosa missed more games than he has played in the last 3 years?
Mucky Tundra (19-Feb) : He hasn't been too bad when healthy but I don't feel like I ever heard much about when he is
Zero2Cool (19-Feb) : Felt like he was more interested in his body, than football. He flashed more than I expected
Zero2Cool (19-Feb) : When he was coming out, I thought he'd be flash in pan.
Mucky Tundra (19-Feb) : Joey seems so forgettable compared to his brother for some reason

Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : It should be halted now.
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : usually spambots are trying to get traffic to shady websites filled with spyware; the two links being spammed were to the Packers website
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : you know when you put it that way combined with the links it was spamming (to the official Packers website)
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : Yep. You can do that with holding down ENTER on a command in Console of browser
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : even with the rapid fire posts?
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : I'm not certain it's a bot.
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : I've got to go to work soon which is a pity because I'm enthralled by this battle between the bot and Zero

Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : Yeah, but this is taking a headline and slapping it into the Packers Talk

Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : check the main forum, seems a spam bot is running amok
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : What?
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : Is the Packers online game "Packers Predict" now available for 2024? I can't tell
