Packer Fans.... I find..... NOW DO NOT KILL ME.... are the most UN Knowledgeable NFL Fans in the Country.

I am not talking about not knowing football.... Oh They do. They know the game. They can break down any play like an assistant coach in the film room on Tuesday.

But as far as knowing the NFL, well a high majority are clue-less.

I remember when the Packers signed Grady Jackson. Many people on the old form were asking "Who is this guy?" That blew me away as a football fan. I was shocked.

Packer Fans are the most passionate fans in the NFL I believe that. However many have no idea what is going on with another team as far a players and even a teams record outside the NFC North.

It is almost like a single focus that is so intense that all else is folly, even in the league they play in.

I have been in Chicago, and I can be in a bar and talk about the Redskins with a Bears fan.... It would be interesting and educational. I could be in Jacksonville and talk about who the starting QB should be with the Cardinals.

I have been in Green Bay... And it is almost impossible to talk about who the Chargers should give the ball to the most times this season.

That is my opinion.... Perhaps it is because it is a small market, and or the fans spend all of their time studying and loving the Green and Gold. I have no idea....

That is what I have noticed.

I think some of the responses above are proof to that.

THAT IS NOT A BAD THING. It is just interesting.

I noticed that aswell RP. I might be looking at it in a bigger perspective, because I look from the outside in as an European or so.

As for this fan pedrigree, I prefer the Vikings.

RP - I am a perfect example of that. I can name every single player on the Packers team and something about each one. But I can't name five players on any other team (besides the Jets).

So I think it has more to do with us loving Green & Gold but not giving a **** about any other team.

I am the polar opposite.. I probably know and spend to much time overall of players around the league.. obsessions are a pain in the rump.

I know what you mean, and agree.
With me, if they arn't Packers, i don't really CARE about them.
Before Charles Woodson came here, i knew who he was and that he played for the Raiders, but thats it.
The only reason i know about some other players is i collect football cards.

LOL. I suppose this means everyone in Tampa Bay is all over who Ted Thompson is going to pick in the fourth round of the draft.

RaiderPride, I hope you don't have big feet. It will be easier to remove them from your mouth. 😛

When I wake up, I check my regular Packers websites and this forum. When I'm bored during the day at university and I have my laptop with me, I check my regular Packers websites and this forum. When I'm about to head off to bed at night, I have a quick look at any Packers updates at my regular Packers websites and this forum.

Although I never am able to purchase anything or watch most of the games, I like to stay up to date on my favourite sporting team.

dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.

Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
