Notice I didn't ask how old you are, what games you have seen, what games you will see, etc. The question is this. How hard do you follow the Green Bay Packers, the rest of the NFL, and are you as nuts as me in that you look at EVERYTHING in the NFL from the perspective of how it has an impact on the Green Bay Packers...

EDIT: I readily admit to a semi-terrible title to this thread, but I am trying to see who is wound-too-tight, relatively speaking.

I myself don't follow the NFL that much. I know the names of the "star" players, but not a whole lot else about other teams. Now.....with the Packers, thats a TOTALLY different story!
I try to know everything about them that i can!

How tightly wound am I?

I am a fan of football in every level imaginable.. but when it comes down to it.. Packers come first, the rest follow a second.

I get so intense on gameday's that it is hard to carry on a conversation.. gameday should be entertainment, well since about age 8 or 9, the games are beyond entertainment.. it is a passion.

Example.. if I can't become totally involved in the game due to distractions or whatnot.. I would rather not watch the game because that will actually piss me off more than trying to watch it half heartedly.. I would rather watch it later so I can become ingrained into the game.

But then I have to shut myself down so I don't know the score and piss me off even more. lol.

As far as news, I have this drive to learn as much as I can about all of it so I am prepared when trying to watch another game or know intimate details about the Packers opponents.. and yes it all impacts the Packers.

I follow the Packers and only the Packers. Couldn't name 10 players on any other team or 10 total players in any other sport. I learn all my college football players from you guys.

I learned about Crabtree from someone posting a video of Crabtree here.

Last year was a fluke. I followed the Jets too, but now I could care less how the Jets do because Favre's not there any more, so it's back to the Packers and only the Packers.

The only real fans you will find are Packer fans. The rest are, well... the rest.

That said, I think we all tend to gravitate to what interests us on a personal level. The NFL Draft bores me so I don't follow it much. I find going to games at Lambeau Field to be the ultimate experience for watching a football game; you can have the biggest wide screen TV with the greatest resolution and sound, but it is nothing compared to seeing the game live. For games I don't go to, you might find me out mowing the lawn instead of watching the game. Sure, I'll check on the score but watching the game on TV is a let down in many ways.

I don't follow as much in the offseason, untill the draft. Now I'm really into it again. I would assume thats how it is for most fans.
