Part of being a fan is having an uneducated, uninformed opinion and able to freely express. Hell, that is one the primary reasons this site exists so people can freely (while albeit at times ignorantly--me included) express their opinion.

FORUM

a place, meeting, or medium where ideas and views on a particular issue can be exchanged.

Not a place where 1 view can be exchanged but where multiple viewpoints. The number 1 issue killing message boards today isn't social media or software as some claim... but the inability of a % of those using it to exchange ideas and views without become hostile pricks at times. ( you don't need 38 replies of I am right and you're wrong again and again to get your point across)

As to this whole Janis/Adams issue, Janis has yet to prove a thing and Adams saw a ton of action last season. They are NOT comparable right now just based on that. Now that very well could flip this preseason but not there yet. Just like last year with a certain TE ...OTA don't mean a thing.

My two cents... off the soapbox.

What I have learned in my many years on this earth: some people are just negative. That's the way they think. Some just like to argue. Some think that if you don't think exactly or believe exactly like they do, you arn't "worthy" of them listening to your point of view on anything.
I myself believe everyone can make good and bad points, and no one is 100% right on everything.

One of the reasons there is so much freedom with this website rules is I have always believed and felt fans can root differently and view their team different than the next. I noticed in other boards those different opinions were often times blocked. Unfortunately, when someone has a less than "go with the grain" thought, they can be subjected to a little barrage of counter points.

This website is sort of like the real world in the sense that you can't let words get your panties in bunches and if you let others know something like words on the internet will get a big reaction, well, I am sorry to say this, but that's going to be like Sharks sensing blood in the water.

Nerd, I am abrasive when people post stupid or wrong things...in this case your😒 post meets both standards.

Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Spotting ball isn't changing, only measuring distance is, Which wasn't the issue.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : The spotting of the ball IS the issue. Not the chain gang.
Mucky Tundra (2-Apr) : Will there be a tracker on the ball or something?
Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : uh oh
Martha Careful (1-Apr) : Too bad camera's can't spot the ball as well.
Mucky Tundra (1-Apr) : So will the chain gang be gone completely or will they still be around as a backup or whatever?
Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : The method for measuring first downs in the NFL will switch from chain gangs to camera-based technology in 2025, the league announced.
Martha Careful (1-Apr) : A big step in the right direction. Just put in the college system is very very good.

Zero2Cool (1-Apr) : Touchbacks on kickoffs will now bring the ball to the 35-yard line.
beast (31-Mar) : It might of gotten more popular recently, but braiding hair (even men) in certain cultures goes back for centuries.
