Looks like they might get a break next week, that hit Brady took looked nasty

Thats what i was thinking.........I don't think Brady will be playing for awhile.
They say the guy hit him low........i couldn't tell, but it looked to me like he was maybe blocked into Brady.

Trom i know your 4 year dream finally came true and Brett Favre is no longer a Packer, but why the hell would you hope the Jets get beat.
The better the Jets play, the more wins they get, the farther they get in the play-offs,

THE BETTER DRAFT PICK THE PACKERS GET NEXT YEAR!!!!

Well, we as Packer fans should be rooting for the Jets to go far. They make the Playoffs, we get a 2nd in '09. They make the SB, we get a 1st.

What about civil debates about Favre? The forum only says Brett Favre, not Brett Favre lovefest. And as for what Trom said, even without Brady the Patriots still have a lot of talent. Him saying they'll still win could simply be a reflection of that. In fact, the Jets will have to play a whole lot better than they did against the fins because New England has a far better o-line, running back, receiving corps, d-line, linebacking corps, and secondary than does Miami regardless of Brady's injury.

I agree with you, the Patriots still have a great team without Brady, who plays the best is the one who will win.

What gravedigga is saying and I am not putting words into his mouth, if people want to trash Brett then dont come to the Brett thread, debates will always be fine. I for one am happy Zero made a Brett column for people who do still follow Brett.

Because we've all had enough arguing for one season. Go back to that "other" forum. It is a wasteland with the new moderator as the only one really posting. That site is a laughing stock and is all but ancient history now. Hopefully this site does not turn into that and us Favre fans can enjoy talking about both Favre and the Packers.

Getting back on topic:

It was weird enough watching Favre in another uniform, but we also had Bubba Franks and David Martin catching passes. Then the appearance by Ahmad Carroll (on the Jets special teams) made it truly surreal.

David Bowens was another blast from the past. I'm thinking he's the same guy who used to play DE for the Packers.
