That's not really a surprise. Who is on deck? Do we have a name we want?

From ESPN:

Pettine never signed a contract extension that was offered to him after last season, meaning he was in the final year of his deal, a source told ESPN earlier in the week, making it a cleaner split. Most coordinators and position coaches always have two years on their deals with the Packers, but Pettine chose to go into the last year of his contract and see how things played out.

The Packers offered him a contract in 2019 and he declined. This sounds more like Pettine wants to move-on than the Packers.

This actually worries me a bit. Yeah he made some bad calls, but overall I think he gave us a pretty good defense considering the lack of depth at CB, DT, and ILB. I’m wondering if we should promote from within so that things don’t change so drastically and cause us to take a step back for a year or two.

Nah, he was bad. We had too much talent to play as bad as we did.
Lets hope Mark Murphy is next up to be fired and the trifecta will be complete

I have to admit.....I’m not sad to see him go.
They need a guy that can light a fire under the players.
Jim Leonhard would be who I would want. He’s really smart and i think he would be great.

I think that the Wisconsin Badgers have one of the best coaching staffs in college football.
