That’s what I hate about today’s NFL. You develop players, and if they turn out to be really good, you can’t keep them.
If they are at best average, THOSE are the ones you can afford to keep.
That sucks.

Tell me how you want to divide them up per player?
My first question is do you want Rodgers throwing the ball more, less or the same?
If he is playing like he did this season, I don't want him to throw it less. If he throws it more then there are less plays for the running backs. So for right now I will pretend it is exactly he same breakdown.
28 running plays. How do you want them divided up? Jones deserves at least 15-18. If he does what he did last night Dillion deserves 15-18 as well. Even using the low end numbers it's over the 28 per game average.
Where does that leave Williams? He has merit for this team. There have been a few times when they needed his play to win games. They can't simply stick him on a shelf and bring him out 2-3 times a year. He won't produce.
Looking at the top 10 RB this year, except for Henry and Cook, they are typically getting around 16 carries a game. Jones is about 14 a game.
No matter how much we like a player, sometimes it is necessary to let them go. We will welcome him back with open arms when he is inducted into the Packer Hall of Fame. Hornung went to the expansion New Orleans Saints. Vince and he cried when it happened.
