Dillon didn’t look sick yesterday.
Perhaps it’s a false positive.
After what I saw yesterday,
I wouldn’t mind if we didn’t have to play the 49ers on Thursday because of that though.

Usually they're testing players a second time to confirm before making it public, to stop the false positive stories.

Might be interesting if no Jones or Dillion.

If he has it, chances are others on the team have it.
Some might give hugs to Dillon so they catch it.
That way they have an excuse to not have to play Thursday.

I wish they would announce whether (or not) a player was symptomatic.

LB Kamal Martin and RB Jamaal Williams are considered close contacts for RB AJ Dillon, who tested positive for COVID-19, source said. Both did not practice today and the league is determining if they are high-risk close contacts.

If deemed close contact, they have to isolate for at least five days. They'd miss 49ers game.

I wonder if Rodgers is close contact, considering he handed him the ball several times.

Sure in some cases it would be clear... but in others, a guy could of gotten winded slightly quicker, or a runny nose after some spicy foods, could be symptoms, but also might not be. Either way, all about if you might be contagious or not, which you can be without symptoms. And some have suggested they felt absolutely great, until they attempted to do their hardest workouts and they struggled more than normal with catching their breath.

Then for the second test, they use the more expensive, 15 minute test.

I'm not sure if this is true with the NFL tests or not, but my general thought with reading about testing elsewhere, is that the cheaper, longer labs ones test if you actually have the virus in the tested swab. While the expensive, shorter one tests for the anti-body in your system that tries to fight the virus and seeing if ithe body is trying to fight.

Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : *had to be IRed at 53
Mucky Tundra (8-Aug) : beast, I thought the designate return from IR players had to be IR at cutdowns to 53, not before
beast (8-Aug) : It's a brand new rule, either last season or this season, prior, all pre-season IRs were done for the season
beast (8-Aug) : But the Packers would have to use one for their return from IR spots on him, when they cut down to 53.
beast (8-Aug) : I think the NFL recently changed the IR rules, so maybe the season might not be over for OL Glover.
Zero2Cool (8-Aug) : Packers star Howton, first NFLPA prez, dies at 95 😔
dfosterf (8-Aug) : Apparently it is too complicated for several to follow your simple instructions, but I digress
