Weather you extol a great past player like Barry Sanders, or Jim Brown, or Walter Payton, or Paul Horning, team affiliations are second to the players talent. You could hate the Colts/Broncos, but still you must respect the playing carrier of Payton Manning.
Today the Packers compete against teams with players that I respect. Russel Wilson, Drew Brees, "Big" Ben Roethlisberger, and even Tom Brady. You don't have to like anyone personally, but their on the field deeds have earned them their deserved respect.
Why should it matter if someone pulls up an old thread that recalls a past great player. Who appointed anyone the right to judge such a thing. Go examine your own self before you start throwing mud at another.
