My money is on Zombie, certainly not the guy who's gonna be sporting shaved legs in a skirt with pom poms, hey there sweet pants. :cyclopsani: And as for Zero, I'm still waiting for his cage match with Tromadz.

I say Z to the guy I' quoting mainly becasue I'm lazy. :thumbright:

Another thing you have to consider when going position-by-position:

If the same guy started in the same position, was he a better or worse player 3 years later? For example: Clifton was close to ugly with his play this past season, but great in 05. Would you rather Nick Collins brings his 05 game this season or his 08 game? Obviously, you want him to play like it's 2008. So, you need to factor that in when you look at each roster.

I said 6-10 team. Hands down.

I agree we still lack depth. The problem with doing a comparison like this is you are using evaluations on something you don't know, how the future for the young guys on the 08 roster will play out.

In fact I remember eveyone being high on Underwood. There were guys on the roster then that were hyped the same way Jordy, Rouse, Blackmon, Jones, etc are being hyped now. The difference is we know how Underwood, Will Whitaker, Hawkins and other turned out. We DO NOT know it with this group.

I'm not sure what the point of this thread is but it is eye-opening our Defense gave up more points than the 4-12 unit did last year. I would take our Offense in 05 with Favre, DD, Javon, Green, Henderson and Franks over what we have now. The O-Line is a wash to me. The only unit I can say was better last year was maybe WR.

As far as Def. the addition of C-Wood automatically makes the Secondary better now. The LB's are a wash and I prefer the D-Line of 05.

If I had to choose overall, and were to include injuries, I'd go with 08. If you took away the injuries of 05' and the injuries of 08' and gave me a choice I'd go with 05'.

point of this thread was if the Pack got to the NFCCG in 2 years form going 6-10, why cant they get there in 2 years with what seems to be better over all talent?

And your going to take the 05 offense?

LOL

39 Td last year on offense..27 FG made in 08

31 TDs on offense in 05.......20 FG made in 05

also you used Montgomery and Rouse as starters for the 2008 team and they were the injury replacements but you still used Green and Walker as starters for the 2005 team??

wpr (26-Jun) : 1st world owners/stockholders problems dfosterf.
Martha Careful (25-Jun) : I would have otherwise admirably served
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Also, no more provision for a write-in candidate, so Martha is off the table at least for this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : You do have to interpret the boring fine print, but all stockholders all see he is on the ballot
dfosterf (25-Jun) : It also says he is subject to another ballot in 2028. I recall nothing of this nature with Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy is on my ballot subject to me penciling him in as a no.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : I thought it used to be we voted for the whatever they called the 45, and then they voted for the seven, and then they voted for Mark Murphy
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Because I was too lazy to change my address, I haven't voted fot years until this year
dfosterf (25-Jun) : of the folks that run this team. I do not recall Mark Murphy being subject to our vote.
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Ed Policy yay or nay is on the pre-approved ballot that we always approve because we are uninformed and lazy, along with all the rest
dfosterf (25-Jun) : Weird question. Very esoteric. For stockholders. Also lengthy. Sorry. Offseason.
Zero2Cool (25-Jun) : Maybe wicked wind chill made it worse?
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : And then he signs with Cleveland in the offseason
Mucky Tundra (25-Jun) : @SharpFootball WR Diontae Johnson just admitted he refused to enter a game in 41° weather last year in Baltimore because he felt “ice cold”
Zero2Cool (24-Jun) : Yawn. Rodgers says he is "pretty sure" this be final season.
Zero2Cool (23-Jun) : PFT claims Packers are having extension talks with Zach Tom, Quay Walker.
Mucky Tundra (20-Jun) : GB-Minnesota 2004 Wild Card game popped up on my YouTube page....UGH
beast (20-Jun) : Hmm 🤔 re-signing Walker before Tom? Sounds highly questionable to me.
