He's right, but it doesn't matter if you're elite right now. It matters if you get into the playoffs and are then elite.

We know Aaron Rodgers is ridiculous and talented but being able to make great throws doesn’t win you the Super Bowl.”

First of all, I've always thought Matt Moore was underrated and he has never gotten a real chance to start except when the rest of the roster was clearly missing important parts and they would have little to no chance with even one of the best QBs.

Second of all, I think it's unfair to compare Moore to youngsters, because he's not one...

Third, play calling and speed... Packers defense has struggled against the better playcallers as shown against the Eagles and Chiefs. And most defensive have struggled with all the Chiefs speed.



That being said, I truely feel like the Packers are quite lucky that they haven't lost a few of these games and they're not quite as good as their record. I think they can make the playoffs and win a game, but I'm thinking NFC champs game might be the furthest... but that's just my current opinion, who know, if they can get fully healthy then they might be able to catch fire.

Blueprint for beating the packers D is to run the ball and call quick pass plays that nullify the pass rush. It also looked like the Chiefs were double teaming all the pass rushers somehow. Credit to the Chiefs coaching staff for a good game plan with so many backups and the Packers for playing the full 60 to get the win. The packer's D needs something like a psycho package but with DBs instead of linebackers.

Cowherd wants to be relevant so badly it hurts that no one cares about him and what he thinks.

The point spread was 5 points at kickoff so most experts didn't expect it to e a blow out where GB won by 20 or 30 points. GB beat the spread. KC is not Miami even with all their injuries. They have a lot of talent even when you factor in the players who were not available last night.

Pretty much any defense will struggle against the Chiefs - their offense is loaded with talent, plus they have a good play caller to take advantage.

Who cares what Colin Cowpie thinks?

7-1 is what the Packers are right now. Are they the best in the NFC right now?
Probably not.
But I doubt they have played their best yet, and STILL they are 7-1.
Get to the playoffs, and see what happens.
They are still jelling.
The best is yet to come!

He’s not entirely wrong. I don’t really care what anybody’s opinion is though. We’re 7-1 with this extremely tough schedule. Who would’ve guessed that?

I’m also tired of hearing people say that we should’ve lost to Detroit. No, we shouldn’t have. Our defense stepped up and kept them out of the end zone. Our offense stepped up and made plays when it mattered.

This is a great summation.

Holding Chicago to 3 now turns out to have been no big deal. We played the Cowboys without their 2 OT's the win against Detroit was iffy. David Carr gave us the lead at half-time and with Mahommes, we lose to the Chiefs.

We still have not handled no-huddle/hurry up offenses at all and this will be exploited, perhaps as soon as next week with an experienced QB.

We probably aren't as good as our record. Yes, the Saints, 49ers, are likely better at this point.

Conversely, we have an offense without its best receiver, learning a new systems, with a first year, first time head coach. We have 6 new starters on defense and two of the other guys are really young. They are going to make mistakes.

We are in for a very difficult stretch, schedule wise, and we end up at Minnesota and at Detroit. Our defense has to get a helluvalot better....yes. But it has the talent to get better. The offense is starting to click and 12 appears to be back.

I'll take it.

Let's just ignore the fact that Andy Reid is a hell of a play caller (and has been for almost two decades) and made the likes of Alex Smith look like an elite QB with the dynamic playmakers that they have.
