I find it interesting that GB was able to trade Reggie Gilbert for a 7th round pick but could not trade Daniels or Jones. Both players I believe have more talent. Daniels was quickly picked up by Detroit. Jones has cleared waivers and is a free agent. It would not surprise me if some team picks him up in the near future as they make their final cuts to get to 53. There is certainly more to making a roster than a player's ability.

I really don't know, just speculating on what I've read. I would have figured Mike Daniels would be worth a 5th, even dinged up. Maybe no one wanted the contracts?

daniels got a very similar contract by detroit.

I feel like the 7th round pick for gilbert is probably conditional and may turn into nothing.

Until I looked it up I thought they signed him on the 25th or 26th before the end of the waiver period.

Jones was designated with a non football injury whateverthehell that means.

We can add Jason Spriggs to the list of players GB couldn't trade. He was released 3 weeks ago and still has not signed with another team.
