Someone should use PhotoShop to put king in a packers uniform like they do after FA signings so we can see what he looks like all suited up.

Just ignorant stuff. Kevin King was drafted by Thompson injured, with the shoulder, for which he had surgery that was pretty extensive, with 12 pins inserted. Then he blows out the other one in his rookie year, but played through it until he couldn't take the pain anymore. He came back and suffered a groin and a hammy in 2018.

This is a very big dude. He's gifted being 6-3 with 4.45 speed. Came into this season knowing full well he needed to deliver, and had worked diligently on his strength and conditioning. Hamstrings happen to nearly every CB, S and WR.

“I know nobody is more frustrated than Kevin. I just know it’s been difficult for him and for all involved with the amount of time he’s missed in two years.” — Packers defensive coordinator Mike Pettine on the start of King’s career

The good news is it sounds like they were holding him out more as a precautionary measure, thereby avoiding a serious injury there. Finally, we have some smart people running the show here in GB.

At UW he injured the shoulder first as a freshman missing a bunch of games with the torn labrum, and played with it all the way through his Senior season, and was out with a concussion in their 2015 bowl game as a Junior. Didn't miss many games as a result of the shoulder his last 3 years there, playing in 12, 11 and 14 games to finish his career there.

This guy is tougher than people give him credit for. Will see. Hopefully he returns healthy again and has a solid season.

P2W, Great Post....but just understand, WE ALL WANT THIS KID TO SUCCEED.

We know he has heart.

Its just frustrating both for us, and more so for him, that with all the potential, he just gets hurt a lot.

Zero2Cool (1h) : There's a toggle for light/dark theme. Super easy.

dfosterf (25-Jul) : It's my one day deal complaint dept. on shareholder meeting day
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Probably a homer access credential intimidation kinda thing
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Meathead "journalists" skip this, concentrating on operational revenue when convenient. They switch when net revenue is more favorable.
dfosterf (25-Jul) : Resulting in an actual drop of net revenue of 12.5%. She is from Minnesota. Just sayin'

Mucky Tundra (25-Jul) : also, no bueno when a guy starts getting concussions right off the bat in his career
Zero2Cool (25-Jul) : Concussion is worse. Banks probably vet off day via back booboo claim
Mucky Tundra (25-Jul) : @AndyHermanNFL Jordy Nelson out at camp today. No word if he’s in play for one of the two open roster spots ; )
