Jonah Williams Alabama shoulder surgery

For any of us wondering why the Packers didn’t pick Jonah Williams from Alabama, obviously, there were health issues there as he is going to have shoulder surgery and miss the entire season

I'm sorry the kid will miss the season.
Unless you are talking about trading up, your post is a little confusing to me. Cincinnati selected Williams with the 11th pick. GB selected 12th. They didn't have a chance. Also unlike Gary, who was had an injury issue prior to the draft, Williams was injured in camp.

There was plenty speculation about trading up to get a tackle, just as we did for a safety.

Teams lying about injury and health issues. Happens all the time to protect their players.

He did 23 reps on the bench press at the combine. So when did he get hurt if he was before the draft?

They didn’t tell me, I think Nick must have lost my number.
Perhaps it was at about the same time Rashad Gary hurt his....before he did 26 reps.

Injuries can happen to any player at any time. So its hard to say exactly when a guy got hurt. He could have been hurt before the draft, and just pushed through it so as to not hurt his draft status, or it may have been in practice or some other time.
None of us knows for sure.
