Ha-Ha has been inconsistent. I like the big plays he's made, but he takes such terrible angles on his tackles. Sometimes I think he hasn't fully adjusted to the speed of the NFL. That's unacceptable for someone in his fifth season.

He in a contract year and believes he won't be back. So be it. Let him think that. That means he's showcasing his talent to all 31 other teams attempting to get the biggest contract he can land. With that kind of motivation, he should have a tremendous season. If that's not enough for him to play well, then nothing will be.

I'm not sure if I'm reading this right or if they know what they're talking about, but PFF seems to be saying they're grading Haha as a top 10 safety.

He often looks like he is trying to avoid injury, so he takes an angle that gets him involved enough in a play to get credit for it but minimizes the potential for contact.

Anything wrong he does gets blown up now because of his horrific showing against the VIkings last year (Jordy looked like he packed it in that game too but it doesn't stop people from still worshipping him) when the season was over and skipping voluntary workouts. Fair criticisms sure but he's still one of the better players overall on our defense.

I keep wondering if S Derwin James and CB Jared Alexander were both on the board, who would we have taken... we needed a CB more, but James just looked like a complete lock and it was a surprise how much he fell in the draft.

But James could of been a future replacement for Haha, with no one else really in house (and no other Safety stepping up at the other starting spot), it seems almost like we got to resign Haha or another vet, as even with the draft, you probably can't fill both spots (unless you hope Josh Jones finally turns the corner at SS)

beast (30-Jan) : College Coaches wouldn't want that publicly, as it would hurt recruiting and they might not get the job.
