I think it would be incredibly funny to see John Madden, Brett Favre and Frank Allende man the booth for a Monday Night Football game. Who would not watch that?

Come now.. what on earth would the media do without a Brett controversy?

Jay Culter only gets some much play, lol.

If they both agree upon it and break no rules in the process.. so be it.. personally until all wounds are healed from both parties, Brett and the Packers including the fan base, I think it best for them to remain apart.

Color me anti drama... lol.

Exactly. Half of America is like "who is Jay Cutler? Is he that chef? Is he that actor that was in that one movie with that one chick? Oh, he's a Quarterback. For who?"

Everybody knows who Brett Favre is.

My God, all the drama. All he would do is help out during an OTA or two. Might only be for one or two days.

Keep in mind. Mangini is probably putting in a new system for the browns. Who better to explain the nuances of the new system than his QB from last year.

And if you think that Favre doesn't have some great know how to pass on to younger QB's than your are really out of touch with just who he is. Every defensive player would talk about how he was a step ahead of them on his audibles and play calling.

Call him what you want, he is one hell of a smart QB.

note: why a slap in the face to packer fans? Are these the same fans that didnt want him to play for the packers last year, but wanted him to retire just so THEY could have good memories? Fuck those fans. Fuck'em. Let Brett do whatever the hell Brett wants to do. If he wants to go to Cleveland and help out, Bravo! Go for it Brett! And if he wants to play again, Go for it Brett! Bravo!

And if you really think that he would be "ruining his legacy" by playing again because he is all washed up, then let him play at Minnesota or Chicago.....after all he is washed up right?

Agreed.

Just have to say one thing. IF BF's bicep is anywhere near 100% and he goes to MN, we'd be in trouble. I watched almost every Jets game last year and besides the last 5, he was spectacular.

I'd love to see him play one more year, and if he plays on the Browns, good. We won't see him twice.

I agree.

Let him be happy doing whatever he wants. I can't see him not being involved with football at some level. I just love the guy and want him to enjoy himself.

Trippster the reason i say he is hurting the legacy is because he is still under contract to the Jets so he don't need to be going to cleveland and giving more fuel to the fire is all. I actually would enjoy him in Detroit lol.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Martha Careful (22-Jan) : you were blocked yesterday, due to a a recalcitrant demeanor yesterday in the penalty box for a recalcitrant demeanor
dfosterf (22-Jan) : Was that site shutdown on your end or mine? No big deal, just curious
beast (21-Jan) : That way teams like Indiana and SMU don't make the conference championships by simply avoiding all the other good teams in their own confere
beast (21-Jan) : Also, with these "Super Conferences" instead of a single conference champion, have 4 teams make a Conference playoffs.
beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
