Let's get Tony Gonzalez in here.

He's still effective, he would make a match up nightmare given
the receivers we have as well. Aaron can rely on Tony as his
failsafe down the middle of the field.

We could trade Brohm, and a conditional pick and the Chiefs would
jump at it. Heck..they might even want to throw in Brody Croyle
or Thigpen back at us

I don't think we can get anything for Brohm. Let's not forget, he's officially our #3.

I still think Donald Lee is underrated by us Packers fans and Finley's developing fast. I don't think TE is a need. If anything, we need to utilize our TEs more like we did in '07. We ought to take our '08 playbook and throw it out the window, then go back to our '07 playbook, a playbook that kept our O on the field and let our D rest. It was also more aggressive, which I liked way more.

I agree. I hope McCarthy is going to use the 07 playbook more and
loosen the reins on Aaron and let him be aggressive.

I think the 08 playbook was to help a young QB, but they should be okay now to really challenge defense..

Ted Thompson would never trade for Tony Gonzales.

That is correct, since the Chiefs owner stated Tony isn't going anywhere...

But I would love to trade for Brian Waters off that line.. he wants out as well and Hunt basically hinted that they would move him..

Ted Thompson will not trade for any current NFL Player. He is going to go with the players he has selected in the draft. Finley will have a chance to showcase his talents this season.

I agree about Finley. He has tons of potential and I think he'll be a pretty good TE in a year or two. Donald Lee will suffice till that point. I guess I'm one of the guys who underrates him.

Tony would make our passing game pretty feared, but still, he is 33 year olds. You have to be sure you can make a run at a championship if you give up something for a guy like that.

Brohm going there, I wouldn't mind that much. Thigpen deserves to start somewhere and Croyle would hardly be an upgrade over Flynn, I think.
