Thats true.............if we would start USING the TE's, we might be surprised at what they can do. We didn't USE them much last year. Hopefully we will open up the playbook more this year.
But that will ONLY happen if we can get an O-line that can give Aaron Rodgers some time!

ya see thats the thing we wouldnt need to use our TEs and RBs to block as much if our front line could block better.

They wheren't that much of a help on the O-line it seemed, anyway. Biggest problem I have is that when a TE has to block a big and quick DE, he usually gets beaten way to fast while the tackle slides over to double-team the huge DT for instance. But that's just me.

Anyway, I don't think that we're a SB ready team and in that case, we won't have that much use for a veteran TE. On the other side, we have a very young and promising TE that fits the mold of a Tony Gonzalez. Maybe he can be a mentor while catching alot of passes aswell. A third would indeed not be to much, but I doubt it'll be enough to satisfy Pioli.

Unless the compensation back to the Chiefs is minimal, I say no thank you.

If Brett is worth no more than a 3rd, than neither is Tony G.

that's not my point. brett had a torn bicep in his throwing arm, it affected his play, it lead to him not being able to make plays. People ignore this fact, and one guy actually wrote it was brett's fault that the jets did not make the playoffs.

i disagree with that statement.

Interesting...

Would a separated shoulder be an excuse too? would that be an okay reason for poor play?

And yes it was his fault..if it was hurt that bad and CLEARLY affecting his play, then he shouldnt have been out there..

Last 4 games 2 TDs and 8 ints..

You really think he wasnt hurting the team?

LOL

call me crazy, but i thought the head coach made decisions on who played on sunday, not the players.
