Khahil Mack is an amazing player, dude won All Pro at two different positions in the SAME DAMN YEAR!
Yes, Mack had a great statistical game.
That being said, I have a bone to pick with those saying Packers were "fools for not offering two first round picks because that's all it would have taken!" ... I heard it on Bill Michael's radio show.
We don't see Mack's name until he registers an assist on tackling Jamal Williams on 2nd and 9 with around 6:08 left in 2nd quarter.
Kizer was QB.
Then Mack gets credited for a sack, forced fumble and fumble recovery.
Kizer was QB.
Let's review that play.
Bryan Bulaga is doing his job, DeShonne Kizer is NOT! He freaking ran right into Mack and gave him the ball. Sure, you can argue Nick Williams flushed Kizer out, but I ain't buying it. He screwed up, like young players do.
Packers next drive, Mack intercepts a pass on 3rd down and returns it for a touchdown.
Kizer was QB.
Let's take a look at that play.
I know even when the QB throws you the ball, you gotta catch it (Ahem, Fuller! hahaha) but holy shit you can't just drop the ball into the guys hands.
The only statistical play Mack made while Rodgers was in the game was a tackle of Jamal Williams on 3rd and 13 after Williams gained five yards.
Rodgers was QB
Looking at the forest through the trees here, sure, he had a great statistical game, but if Rodgers is at QB, he doesn't scare me. And with Kizer at QB, everyone scares me!
