Clay will get the accolades (and deservedly so) but woody did a tremendous job (again) in coming from the backside stopping runs, cleared up Clay and others on some blitzing "stunts", and CM3 can thank him for the int returned for a TD.

Even I was commenting on how he was taking a step back this year, but when you see how much he is used as an LB rather than a plane jane cover corner, and how damn well he does it, it reiterates why he was DPOY last year.

He certainly looked more like his old self last night than he did a month ago.
He is on his way to re-establishing himself as the best defensive player in the league, I don't care what they say about Revis island.

My only real gripe with him this year has been his footing, and I'm sure his toe has a lot to do with that. I'm assuming he puts less wait on his toes and more on his heels when he plants, and that leads to more slipping.

Hands down the best CB I've seen around the line of scrimmage. Very underrated this entire season. His coverage has been a slight letdown, but his impact in the run game and helping out his teammates is very noticeable. Other CBs can tackle like him. Others can play off of receiver blocks like him. NO ONE shoots the gaps like Woodson and creates an extra OLB on his side like Woodson does. He won't hit a player like Bishop can (obviously, he doesn't have the size), but he simply doesn't miss tackles either. His LOS play is really propelling him ahead of Al Harris on my favs list.
