I'm a little surprised that Hawkins got the ax, since he was active for 15 games last year. But considering he only accrued all of 41 tackles in two seasons, the Packers must have found him dispensable.

Though I thought some zone team might wanted to trade a conditional 7th for him.

Hawkins might be better on a zone coverage team or moving to Safety (who naturally play zone more often)

Yeah. DL is MLB. Sorry.

Teams can put as many players on the IR as needed. They don;t have to designate which ones are eligible to be reinstated.

A little surprised by Mays since Jones is out for the first two weeks. That leaves Kerridge and Daniels behind Monty and Williams if I am not mistaken. I guess Monty won't be making that move back to WR after all. He probably won't be cut either.

I'm telling ya, They are going to end up with a Raiders player after all. Chris Warren III

Well, we've been stuck at 57 for a while now... so might have to wait until the official announcement.

Though I feel like these have been some false reports, as it's being said that all 8 WRs and 5 TEs have made it, which is pretty shocking (if true).
