His athletic profile coming out of Wisconsin almost perfectly mirrored Clay Matthews’ when he entered the NFL out of USC. He’s quick and strong at 246 pounds and his motor is always running hot. A full year of development in an NFL strength and conditioning program could help Biegel take the next step physically.

Offseason photos of Biegel make it appear as if he’s added 5-10 pounds.

Seems like a good fit there. Let's give the guy an off-season and the pre-season and see what he can do in football shape before digging the grave.

I am all in favor of giving him a chance. Clearly he didn't have a chance last year. He just might be an adequate rotational player who has a decent 5-8 year career. What I doubt is all the love that has been thrown his way by Badger fans who think he will have a better career than J. J. Watt.

Dude’s measurables were comparable to Clay Matthews. And as far as his performance at Wisconsin, it was on par with Watt. Dude is Frank Zombo at a minimum.
