This is a neat little chart. (move this to football familiarity section at a later date)

Does this chart add clarity of where the ball should be thrown for you?

It's a nice chart but it is a little simplistic. It assumes the receiver is on a crossing pattern. On a post the target areas are all there but where is the defender? You can't throw the ball to the receivers chest if the defender is between the receiver and the QB. And what of the back shoulder pass? Sometimes the best pass is one that is short. The receiver knowing this can pull up and let the defender take himself out of the play. The passes by the sidelines where the ball needs to be in the "High" and also "In front" zone. Then there are the passes that are intentionally low allowing the receiver to get down and avoid contact.

The QB can make the perfect pass but not be in the "accurate" area.

Hundley’s problem was that he played the way Mike taught him to play, scared. He was unable and unwilling to anticipate when the WR was gonna break open, make a move or separate. All his throws were late and behind.

I think it was pounded into his head, from everyone (fans, teammates, coaches, media) that the season was riding on him so when he'd see a guy open, instead of immediately pulling the trigger, he'd hitch and re-cock and stare and then throw ... and guess what? The defense closes in and smacks the WR or picks it off.

That's something that bothered me a lot. Game after game, I didn't see progress on decision making. Just sling that shit. Trust your instincts! You'll get better. Shit, Peyton Manning threw more INT's in his rookie season than any other rookie ever! You gotta fall down to learn to pick yourself up.
