That is a big part of the issue. An upgrade at CB would be nice, but if the guys up front can put some heat on the QB - no doubt our secondary would look much better. A good pass rush can make an average secondary look really good.

He tore the Achilles in one leg, then had a clean up on the other and is in a boot now. I can't imagine he's going to get a huge deal. I wouldn't mind bringing him and Wilkerson on board with 2 year opt out deals. Get more good bodies in training camp.

I would love to see him in Green Bay as much for his brains and grit as his playing ability, which is somewhat diminished.

I place a low probability of that, but it’s fun to dream.

Now that we traded Randall we could use him.

Of course the stats say that the zone CBs are better... because they're asked to do less...

Sherman is the best zone CB in recent history... very few argue that... of course having one of the greatest FS helping you sure helps...

But man coverage is physical harder... especially when you don't have one of the top Safeties covering your backside.

Questions is what are the Packers going to run mostly? Man or zone coverage?

It appears that GB's new GM has already formed a plan and has begun to put it into action. He has started by filling GB's QB Core and making room for new CBs. I suspect that at least 3 CBs will be drafted between rounds 3 and 5 of the draft. We may see players that did not make the spotlight nationally as they played at schools like James Madison or North Dakota or Grambling State.
