I don't dispute that, but Eliot is highest on the hierarchy now...although Russ is sort of laterally equal, maybe?

I'm not pining for Eliot. I honestly have no idea how good Brian, Russ, Alonzo, or Eliot are or could be. I'm intrigued by Eliot for the obvious reasons, but readily admit I have no clue if he can do the job well. I'm just referring to the supposed "depth chart."

Stay in the bubble, B. McGinn made up that the board forced Murphy to act due to concerns about him being unfit? This conversation needs to take place.

Oh, and Z...MM was just extended 1 year. Did Ted do that, too, now that he's officially not GM? Now, being reported this was done WEEKS ago. So, our unfit mentally compromised GM signed off on an extension. Tells me this ran deep and the plan was inhouse and everyone was on board. I'm more upset than before.

McGinn is a delusional vindictive child, a liar and a fool. Now he's starving to death, as he spent all his retirement money on his blog, delusionally thinking anyone cares what he has to say. So is he lying? He easily could be. Was he duped or set-up? Possible, he's a fool. Did someone say something and he did a super duper uffda duffda spin on it? Yea, he could have done that too.

Maybe, I called McGinn and said my name was Will Kress [who is on GB's Board of directors]; told him to call me Fitz! I then explained to him that i was still pissed that McCarthy stole my wife and that I'd have a chance to get her back if McCarthy coached in another city. Ted wouldn't fire Mike, so I convince my fellow BOD members to fire Ted because he went all mental 😂.

The dumbass soaked it up like...like...like...Nikki Haley. HAHA. Trump's ambassador to UN that was punked by 2 Russian comedians. Haley thought she was talking to Poland's prime minster and they got this dumbass to say disparaging things about Putin and Egypt's el-Sisi and got her to admit she was aware of political unrest on a fictitious island.

At any rate if you understood how BOD's work; you'd know McGinn's story is 100% full of crap.

It amazes me how some people think they are SOOOOO smart.
"No it alls". I think it's aware who that is.
Anyway, I have said I thought Ted had some kind of illness for quite some time on here. And many others said so too. I had nothing to "prove" it other then how it seemed to me that he looked and acted differently, a definite change.

Mark Murphy has an interview scheduled with Wolf on Thursday and will speak with Russ Ball and Brian Gutekunst this week also. I've been reading that Ball is the favorite or front runner for GM.

Ball is a bean counter like Murphy and the board. If Ball, a non football guy, is the choice, I will be less than pleased. His hiring would be an affront to any fan who ever cared about the Packers "winning". His hiring would be irrefutable evidence that all the Packers org ever cared about was making money.

If Ball is hired, I will take a knee on my near 40 year run following this team. I already changed my twitter avi to a non Packers related pic due to the shame and disgust I feel for the org. This would be the coup de gras.

Ball has just become my unmitigated favorite!!!!!!!! And with Wolf and Guntekist gone that'll leave Ted as the only football mind making all the football decisions behind the scenes with no accountability.

Kev, You already know I want Scot McCloughan so why do that? I wrote you an email yesterday that I wanted Scot and why I wanted him. There is no aura..no draw to the Green Bay Packers outside of Aaron Rodgers. He's a huge draw, but the rest of our org is vapid. We need some credibility. Ted was seen as a joke and a dinosaur as was pointed out in a not long ago Mike Freeman piece. There is no respectability here and I think bringing in an established veteran who has been successful is needed right now. If we go Ball or even Eliot whom I was okay with previously, I think it's just more of the same. Promote from within, do the simple thing, don't really try to get better. It would fit with the flatline approach over the years with Ted. We need BIG hires at GM and DC not run of the mill typical expected old Packers org mentality stuff. A Ball at GM and Darren Perry at DC would be Ted time in a nutshell. A McCloughan and Rex Ryan would send a loud message around the league that the Packers are serious about winning SB's. A Perry Ball hiring combo shows Packers are status quo and just trying to be as similar as possible to that past flatline approach.

Of course, I was worried about Scot's past personal issues, but if he's good to go, I think it makes sense to bring him back. I do not want Reggie McKenzie. When I heard him speak I almost fell on the floor. It was so unexpected. He sounded as bad as Lester Hayes after the Raiders won the SB.

Mucky Tundra (2h) : @AaronNagler · 2m Both Jordan Love and Malik Willis were Limited participants at Packers practice today.
Zero2Cool (5h) : Johnson didn't make it until 2020. Ring 2023. 🤷 Personally, he should have been in years prior to Hall.
Zero2Cool (5h) : HUMP DAY
beast (5h) : Guys that have a good shot at making the NFL Hall of Fame usually get into their teams pretty fast
beast (5h) : Yeah, but is Kampman and the others in the NFL Hall of Fame?
Zero2Cool (5h) : Johnson was Hall of Fame, 2020. Should haev been in Ring a year later, not three years.
Zero2Cool (5h) : I could be wrong there though
Zero2Cool (5h) : Guys like Kampman, Tim Harris, Al Harris, etc all over 15 years. Hall of Fame is 5 year wait
Zero2Cool (5h) : I guess I see players in Packers Hall come way later
beast (5h) : Yeah, usually teams hall of fames are a much lower bar than the NFL
Zero2Cool (5h) : is it uncommon for Hall before Ring?
Zero2Cool (6h) : S Xavier McKinney named first-team All-Pro by NFLPA
beast (7h) : I missed it, sorry, but he got into the NFL Hall of Fame years before that
Zero2Cool (7h) : Jones took his sweet ole time!
Zero2Cool (7h) : Yeah, he's in the ring of honor, just saw video and his name is up there
Zero2Cool (7h) : Didn't they have a thing in 2023 for Jimmy's ring of honor? I swear I saw it
beast (7h) : Though if they're legitimately trying to re-sign MM, then it makes sense.
beast (7h) : Jerry Jones still hasn't put Jimmy Johnson in the Ring of Honor, but he's in the NFL's Hall of Fame, Jones is petty
Mucky Tundra (19h) : Unless the Cowboys are planning an extension, seems kinda petty
beast (21h) : Cowboys denied Bears request
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : From what I'm reading, MM is under contract through the 14th of January; after that he's free game
Zero2Cool (6-Jan) : McCarthy let go or not extended??
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Chicago Bears have asked the Dallas Cowboys permission to interview Mike McCarthy for head coaching vacancy

Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Missed FG into a Lions TD; that'll do pig, that'll do
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : That might be it for the Vikings
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Oh so the refs do know what intentional grounding is
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : what the hell was that Goff?! Not much pressure and he just air mails it to Harrison
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : They really need to to get rid of the auto first down for illegal contact
Martha Careful (6-Jan) : watching the Vikings and Lions it's understandable why they swept the Packers. So much better product
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Even when GB got pressure he was throwing darts; vs no pressure on that last pass he just air mails an open guy
Zero2Cool (6-Jan) : didn't have guys in his face ... pressure makes difference
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Where was this Darnold vs GB?
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : BALL DON'T LIE
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : how was that not a safety? Goff throws it at an offensive lineman
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Zero, I thought that was a given! ;)
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Zero I looked through earlier and noticed the same thing. Bonkers year. I just wonder if beast put any money on games
Zero2Cool (6-Jan) : I'm hoping for BLOODBATH. Pummel one another.
Zero2Cool (6-Jan) : 8 people in pick'em would have won any year with their total lol
