Bob writes for attention and now that he's trying to get his own website off the ground that's behind a paywall, I have less trust in him than when I saw that he was blatantly lying about quotes. Genius didn't realize that people could read the transcripts for crying out loud.

I do believe there is something amiss at 1265, even Jason Wilde said that "things seem fishy" with everything that's going down.

The pay thing and embellishment is a valid concern. However, paring it down to it's most innocuous state the piece is still indicting and incredible. I don't doubt much of it. It may be a bit sensationalized but again stripping it down still leaves a lot of questions and really really makes the org and specifically Murphy look incompetent if not downright horrible.

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

Why? I don't get this. A great athlete doesn't not guarantee a great coach. Could he be, sure, but there isn't necessarily any correlation.

By "TV", I'm saying when a TV show does a movie on "true events" they add extra elements to spice things up.

I don't think it's as messed up as some think. I bet they already know who is the new GM. They just have to make it look like they are "looking".
They wouldn't just make a move like this without being prepared.
Also I bet they gave Ted this new position to make it look good for all involved. Not just fire him and cut him loose. Especially if it turns out he is sick.

From Rob Demovsky ...
"Packers senior personnel executive Alonzo Highsmith is joining the Browns as vice president of football operations under GM John Dorsey. Highsmith said he did not think he would get an interview for the open GM job in Green Bay. "We discussed so many ideas and all kinds of stuff," Highsmith said of his interview with the Browns on Tuesday. "I was exposed to so much stuff today. That's why I thought it was as great opportunity. It feels good to go somewhere that you feel like you're trusted.""

beast (8-Jan) : I missed it, sorry, but he got into the NFL Hall of Fame years before that
Zero2Cool (8-Jan) : Jones took his sweet ole time!

Zero2Cool (8-Jan) : Didn't they have a thing in 2023 for Jimmy's ring of honor? I swear I saw it
beast (8-Jan) : Though if they're legitimately trying to re-sign MM, then it makes sense.
beast (8-Jan) : Jerry Jones still hasn't put Jimmy Johnson in the Ring of Honor, but he's in the NFL's Hall of Fame, Jones is petty
Mucky Tundra (8-Jan) : Unless the Cowboys are planning an extension, seems kinda petty
beast (8-Jan) : Cowboys denied Bears request
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : From what I'm reading, MM is under contract through the 14th of January; after that he's free game

Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : what the hell was that Goff?! Not much pressure and he just air mails it to Harrison
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : They really need to to get rid of the auto first down for illegal contact
Martha Careful (6-Jan) : watching the Vikings and Lions it's understandable why they swept the Packers. So much better product
Mucky Tundra (6-Jan) : Even when GB got pressure he was throwing darts; vs no pressure on that last pass he just air mails an open guy
