Wayne...can I see the post? It's good for me to see what others have to say and fully consider it and make changes if necessary. This split topic was a way to get all these issues out.

Belittling someone is wrong. Telling the truth and having someone feel belittled isn't. Spirit is everything.

Nonstopdrivel...I tried signing up with that moniker but you'd beaten me to it. 🙂. I'm sorry I neglected to mention you. I just recall PMs from Dakota and some of his defense of me against the majority. If this forum espoused more overall mentality similar to mine, I'd be pounding the drum a lot less...there'd be no need. Like the guy on the street corner preaching, if everyone believed there'd be no need for him to be there.

As for now, more of my mentality is showing itself so I could dial it down but I feel like we're on the one inch line about to finally breakthrough. Change is closer than it's ever been. I'm hoping Twitter tide keeps turning and media asks tougher more pertinent questions that need to be asked. Buzz usually proceeds action. The buzz needs to build...the Packers board needs to understand that what Wayne spoke to isn't acceptable to a growing majority. There's power in the people but never when they're placated like the majority has been.

Sorry beast. I thought it over for more than an hour. Personal attacks are not acceptable even if the other member really ticks you off. If I see someone else attacking you I would do the same thing.

I moved your post to a place that Zero or another mod can reinstate it if one of them thinks I acted wrong.

I typically like your posts and respect your opinion.

You keep wondering why you are targeted with attacks, it's mostly because your superiority complex keeps monologuing how you are most superior of anyone on here. You're blind to it for some reason, for you keep telling the rest of us that you are superior to us in some way... over and over again, you tell us how much better you are about something... that's belittling everyone else.

Just because you feel like your the most objective does not mean
1) That you are
2) That you have to keep monologuing about it
3) That you have to keep disgracing the rest of us, because that's a form of personal attacking

When you do that, you are using your personal opinion (not the truth, not a fact) to attack everyone else... and do you know what they then do? They attack back

People do need to stop attacking you... but there is no reason for them to stop, until you stop attacking as well.... No one cares (not even the slightest) if you think it's the truth... if your attacking everyone else like that, you will always have multiple attacks back.

Uffda, one problem is you just want to debate and reword stuff...

I don't care what you call it... but if you just stopped monologuing about how people are different from each other (ie, how you are different than everyone else) or (ie how Homers are different), as that's what is gas been extremely offensive to others.

Maybe you don't mean to... but you usually come off looking horrible when you do it...

Usually because you put yourself in your very own category, and talk about your categorys' strength over the other categories, as that comes off as you think your superior to everyone else, which is offensive (belittling) to others. Again, maybe not what you mean... but that doesn't matter as it's not truth, it's an opinion that's offensive to others which gets them to couter and offend you back.

Suggestions that you can be more objective than anyone else is acting superror to everyone else, and is a slap in the face to everyone else, as you are saying you are better... you are not better and you aren't worse, and stop ranking people, it's extremely offensive to others.

I read what you wrote...have no idea how you think I was belittling Wayne? You come up with some bizarre inferences. One thing I'm not is a liar but you apparently feel like I'm extremely dishonest. To me, that's a coping mechanism to cast aspersions on me.

The only group I feel separate from, not above, is the homer faction. I'm not alone in being the only non homer here but guys like me are very much the minority.

I'm not sure what is so upsetting to you? Homers aren't objective, that's what makes them homers. That is not an opinion...it's a fact. Simple definition of words tells us that. Crusade against the word not me. If the word or label is belittling just tell me. Tell me it hurts you to be indicted as a homer. I don't wish to hurt you...I wish to have everyone be honest about who they are here. If you're a homer admit it and be it. Don't pretend you're something else and holler that you're being belittled.

Tell me who you are? Who are you? Are you comfortable enough to say. I self analyze before you. Reciprocate. I'm a critic as much as a fan. Homers and critics are oil and water so we're not all the same just not sure how BETTER ever entered this in the charge that I think I'm better? If you feel inferior, don't put that on me you'd be looking in the wrong place. Not saying you are but you sure are nowhere close on much of what you allege of me.

Honestly no I'm not comfortable with you... because I honestly don't know if your playing dumb pretending you can't see the result of your actions, or if your truly oblivious, that your words are setting into motion a reaction that your complaining about, but you keep repeatedly triggering.

I don't feel inferior to anyone here, unless we're talking about people's cumputer coding skills, I would like to understand how Zero was make this awesome site and why there aren't more like them.

What I allege you of, is because it's hard for me to believe with all these people pointing out how you say things is effecting others that you don't also notice it....

Here's the disconnect... Is it fair to say you don't think what I believe to be homerism is as prevalent as I allege? I can understand if you think it's an opinion about how rampant homerism is but it's a stone cold fact that homerism precludes objectivity. I think this definition from urban dictionary sums up what I've been railing against quite nicely:

2.) A blind chauvinist that displays uncritical loyalty and enthusiasm towards a team, organization, leader, band, institution, etc in spite of their obvious faults and shortcomings. Usually belligerent to criticism no matter how constructive or benign it is to their entity they blindly and uncritically support.

------ If you aren't a homer then nothing I've said that you feel is belittling applies to you. My "belittling" only applies to homer views I see expressed. As you can see by the definition there is nothing I've said about homers is wrong or belittling. By definition, a homer is incapable of objectivity and true debate. Again, if you're not a homer, I haven't been speaking to you. I'm speaking to homers...the exact mindset that says things like the Adams vs Sharpe thing. See stuff here not quite to that degree but clear homerism all the time and 100% yes many have a blind spot when it comes to recognizing it. Am I special or better for recognizing if you don't happen to see it? No. Don't rail me for something you don't see. I'm not wrong and not belittling...just telling the truth.

No, if we're assuming your truly innocent (and I'm really trying) this is about you not understand how your writing comes off to the reader, of said writers.

No, it's not just me... lots of others have already told you in this thread (I'love edit quote them below) and you haven't seemed to get the message, because for some reason your oblivious to it, but when most people read your writing, it's as if your purposely talking down and insulting others.ying belittling others.

Also I know this is going to be hard for you to believe, but if your writing didn't often comes off as building yourself as better than everyone else, and belittling them, then I might like you.

But I think everyone agrees that your smart, which makes it so harder and more confusing for me to believe, that you are obvious to your writings style's implied insults, that everyone else notices except you.

Yes. People who express homer views feel belittled when someone/I shine(s) a light on it. I guess we're just going to pretend there is no homerism on a fan forum? We're going to let those predisposed to homerism determine what is actually homerism instead of someone everyone knows is not a homer? We're going to discredit any talk against homerism by calling the person who speaks to it... arrogant, negative, a belittler when all that's been done is the truth was told?

Sounds logical and reasonable. I refer you back to the "belligerent" portion of the homerism definition. Nope. Never ever seen that before. Truth leads to banning. Ultimately, this is the only logical outcome. Homerism is not going to let non homerism thrive in a fan forum. It will be stifled and attempts to censor will happen until the final act where it will be stated that I was warned and this had to happen for the good of the forum. Majority rules. Homerism is the majority and I'm not going to compromise truth to be able to hang.
