I don't know about you, but I am ALL-IN with Brett Hundley. We either WIN with him, or LOSE with him. All I ask, ... let the god damn QB play the mother trucking game how it's supposed to be played!! You need to call the game to WIN the game, not call the game hoping to not LOSE the game.

Mike McCarthy’s support for Brett Hundley as Aaron Rodgers' stand-in was so emphatic that you thought the Green Bay Packers coach would turn his quarterback loose in his first NFL start Sunday against the Saints.

Instead, he never gave him much of a chance.

McCarthy’s ultra-conservative, run-heavy game plan and play calling in Sunday’s 26-17 loss to the New Orleans Saints offered few answers about whether Hundley can keep the Packers in the NFC North race until Rodgers can possibly return from his broken right clavicle.

“It was a challenge that I didn’t meet today,” McCarthy said. “He didn’t get comfortable in the pocket, and that’s my responsibility. So I did a poor job coaching.’

“Our passing game, we can sit here and pick it apart all we want,” McCarthy added. “Let’s just blame it on the head coach today.

To a point yes, but do need to also keep him from trying to do more than he is ready for.

to really help him, get him out from shotgun. The way Jones is running, get Hundley under center, so the play action can be at its most effective.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

After the AWFUL showing yesterday, I don't see anything positive from Hundley, other then the TD run.
He can't hit a guy when he's open. By the time he throws the ball, whoever MIGHT be open, is no longer so.
Maybe they should go out and sign Matt Flynn. He can't be any worse then Hundley has been.

I put some of this on McCarthy because he didn't give Hundley a plan that allowed the guy to get into any kind of a flow and with the running game moving the ball that was a blown opportunity. He had play action sitting in his lap and didn't capitalize.

MM needs to cut the kid loose and let him roll. He will either grasp on to that and build his confidence or it won't but at least he won't be tied down playing afraid to make a mistake. This game was frustrating. It was like eating a snickers bar in hot car. Started out fine but by the end it was all a big mess.

At least go down swinging.

Is ANYBODY confident we'll win either of the next two if we DON'T throw the ball downfield?

Packers completely failed to get the outside WRs involved.

And while MM is trying to take all the blame, I'm not sure a saw a good deep pass come from Hundley, as the ball normally went more towards the DBs than the deep WR. The Packers WRs even broke up a couple of INTs.

We need to let him sync up and get up to speed. Only then will we know if he's just missing guys.

That deep INT looked to me more like a miscommunication than anything.

dfosterf (22h) : *Elgersma*
dfosterf (23h) : Today would be a good day to discover the Pack signed Taylor Engersma, the Canadian QB
Zero2Cool (11-May) : It wasn't. He simply wanted his money back. They refused. Cops came. They gave him his money in end.
dfosterf (11-May) : Fortunately it doesn't sound like a big deal

Martha Careful (5-May) : Yes, in the military S2’s work on IPB, PERCEC, PHYSEC and IO
dfosterf (4-May) : FYI civilian companies swipe the S2 designation from the military. S2 is the intelligence branch up to brigade level. G2 is division level.
dfosterf (4-May) : Google it. Make sure to tack NFL on it or you will get the military meaning
Zero2Cool (4-May) : S2?
beast (4-May) : Seems like the S2 has a love/hate relationship with professional scouts.
beast (4-May) : In theory, the S2 test how quickly a QBs brain can solve game like issues and how quickly they can do it.
dfosterf (4-May) : Are you gentlemen and at least one lady familiar with the S2 cognition
Zero2Cool (4-May) : Maybe there isn't an issue.
beast (4-May) : NFL really needs to fix their position labeling issue, but I don't think they care

Zero2Cool (1-May) : Matthew Golden spoke with Randall Cobb before draft. Looked like chance encounter.

Zero2Cool (30-Apr) : Packers are exercising the fifth-year option on DT Devonte Wyatt, locking in a guaranteed $12.9M for the 2026 season.
