Now that he's done, what do the Packers do? Do they try to get a veteran QB?
Maybe try to get Tony Romo to come in?

Do they just bring in Callahan from the practice squad? Does it really matter, or just accept that the chances of making the playoffs is over?

What do you think?

The Packers are going to trust Brett Hundley. If the Packers make a move now to fill in the aforementioned holes, what does that say about Rodgers value that with Hundley they will go "all in" for, but not Rodgers?

The Packers will do nothing. We will watch. We will root. And we will hope for next season and enjoy top 15 draft picks in the next draft.

To which Huntley applies. That's all.

I am going into the rest of the season with very minimal expectations so that if they are exceeded, I can still have some enjoyment. 😁

The title of this thread should read, "Without our starters, what do we do?" While there is no doubt in my mind that Rodgers leaves the BIGGEST hole in this team, the surrounding injuries make it all that much worse.

Let's start with the offensive line..
By the end of yesterday's game, the Packers had a 3rd string guard playing LT, their 5th tackle off of a practice squad playing RT, and a below-average UDFA guard at LG. Our only two starters available are Linsley and Evans at this time.

This will be the issue at hand for Hundley being successful. Rodgers was able to mask the holes this offense had in the offensive line with his pocket presence and his scrambling ability. Hundley does not have the same ability to escape the pocket and throw on the run. This was something he absolutely struggled with in the preseason (this is something Tom Silverstein has always touched on).

I do not see our offensive line situation getting any better.

Packers will have to somehow drum up a running game. Aaron Jones should be given the opportunity to do his thing. Unfortunately, for him (and Ty) they aren't going to have much room to run.

Add to this, how banged up the defense is. At the end of yesterday's game, the Packers were starting the 3rd and 4th string safeties at corner.
-House is unreliable. Injuries are becoming common with him.
-Rollins' status is unclear. He was carted off--probably bad. He wasn't adding much while healthy anyways.
-King has a concussion. Hopefully this is a one-time thing. He needs to be playing on the 1's ROS.
-Randall is Randall. We know what we are getting with him and it is nothing special.

Unfortunately, I do not see the defense keeping them in games with the better teams remaining on the schedule.

ROS (glass half full)
Saints- loss
Lions- loss
@ Bears- win
Ravens- win
@ Steelers- loss
Bucs- win
@ Browns- win
@ Panthers- loss
Vikings- loss
@ Lions- loss

ROS (we are doomed)
Only other wins are against the Bucs and Browns.

I am not expecting a whole lot of wins unless the Oline suddenly becomes healthy. We will find out what we have at the backup QB position and also what we have in the Offensive Coaching dept. I don't need to see Wins necessarily, But I expect to see adjustments made and improvement in play from week to week.

Was Matt Cassel that great of a QB? No but the coaching staff adjusted to him, didn't expect all the players to adjust to what the coaches wanted.
The world needs ditch diggers too Danny!!!

I'd like to get King back, but I suspect they might rest him until after the bye. One of the main reasons I didn't like him as a pick was his concusion history. They don't want another Sam Shields scenario.

Zero2Cool (56m) : We can say it. We don't play.
Mucky Tundra (2h) : But to say they are in is looking past the Saints
Mucky Tundra (2h) : That said, their odds are very favorable with a >99% chance of making the playoffs entering this week's games
Mucky Tundra (2h) : Packers are not in and have not clinched a playoff spot.
buckeyepackfan (2h) : Packers are in, they need to keep winning to improve their seed#.
Mucky Tundra (11h) : Getting help would have been nice, but helping ourselves should always be the plan
beast (12h) : Too bad Seahawks couldn't beat Vikings
bboystyle (12h) : We just need to win Monday night and were in
Mucky Tundra (15h) : Or ties, but let's be real here
Mucky Tundra (15h) : Other scenario was Falcons+Rams losses
Mucky Tundra (15h) : Needed a Falcons loss for a Seahawk loss to clinch
buckeyepackfan (15h) : Am I wring in saying if Tge Vikings beat The Seahawks, The Packers clinch?
Mucky Tundra (21-Dec) : Agreed; you stinks
Zero2Cool (21-Dec) : I'm not beating anyone. I stinks.
Mucky Tundra (21-Dec) : rough injury for tank dell. guy can't catch abreak
beast (21-Dec) : So far the college playoffs have sucked... One team absolutely dominates the other
beast (21-Dec) : Well even if you weren't positive towards a guy, you wouldn't nessarily want to tell the media that (if they don't know about it)
Martha Careful (21-Dec) : I think MLF want Love to look past the end half issues, and feel good about his play. Our coaches generally keep a very positive tone.
beast (21-Dec) : I think a great running game will do that for most QBs
packerfanoutwest (21-Dec) : Coach Matt LaFleur has said quarterback Jordan Love is playing the best football of his career.
beast (21-Dec) : Oh, that's how you keep beating buckeye, with cheating

wpr (20-Dec) : and then there is Beast. Running away with it all.
beast (20-Dec) : As of tonight, 3 way tie for 2nd in Pick'em, that battle is interesting!
beast (20-Dec) : Lions vs Vikings could be the main last game as it could determine division winners or #1 vs #2 seed
Mucky Tundra (20-Dec) : Or if KC needs to win for the #1 seed
Mucky Tundra (20-Dec) : Right now it looks like the only prime worthy games are Det-Minny and KC-Denver (if Denver can clinch a wild card spot)
Mucky Tundra (20-Dec) : The entirety of week 18 being listed as flex is weird
Zero2Cool (19-Dec) : Matt LaFleur today says unequivocally "Ted Thompson had nothing to do with the drafting of Jordan Love."

Zero2Cool (19-Dec) : Jordan Love pick was Ted Thompson's idea.

Mucky Tundra (18-Dec) : The real lie is how beast capitalized his name in his message while it's normally spelled with
packerfanoutwest (18-Dec) : haha that's a lie
beast (17-Dec) : Despite what lies other might tell, Beast didn't hate the Winter Warnings, it felt refreshing to Beast for some reason.
Zero2Cool (17-Dec) : whiteout uniforms in general are pretty lame and weak. NFL greed at it's worst
Martha Careful (17-Dec) : The Viking uniforms, the whiteout uniforms specifically absolutely suck
beast (17-Dec) : Thanks Zero2Cool, looks a lot better now
beast (17-Dec) : Seems like someone has a crush on me, can't stop talking about me
Zero2Cool (17-Dec) : Should be gooder now. The forum default theme went to goofy land.
Zero2Cool (17-Dec) : What the hell
packerfanoutwest (17-Dec) : yeah beast hates the Winter Warning Unies
Mucky Tundra (16-Dec) : Okay I'm glad to know it's not just something happening to me lol
Mucky Tundra (16-Dec) : Zero, did you copy the Packers uniforms from last night and white out the board?
beast (16-Dec) : Oh crap, is the board going to the Winter Warning Uniforms too?!? It's all white on white right now!
