I see a difference between being upset after a loss, and just being negative. If anything perhaps this little sidebar will result in more actual discussion about players and plays of the games and less, Fire Ted, Fire Mike, Fire Dom, Rodgers sucks.

Since I've been watching the Packers for over 40 years (shut up, yes i'm gettin old) I tend to take each win & loss with a grain of salt. My God people, I'm a Packer fan in ILLINOIS!!! I went years of just hoping we'd beat the Bears at least once in any given season so I could put on my Packers shirt & finally get a chance to gloat!! Maybe it's come with my age but let's be honest here guys - it's a game, not the end of the freakin world, not the reason to have your day ruined - life goes on. I understand getting annoyed during game chats & like Zero said in the first 24 hours post game but then - I let it go.

Now, having said all that...I can get pissed as hell when we lose, frustrated at the play calling, annoyed with the coaches, & yes, even the players!!! Don't they know we're supposed to win every damn game?!?

Every year 31 out of 32 teams go home without a ring, to be honest the Packers are held to such a high standard year after year that you are more guilty of your unrealistic expectations than anything. Marino was probably a better Qb than Favre or Rodgers and he never won shit.

Ease up on your kids btw, or good luck when they pick your retirement home down the road 🤣

My guess is the Super Bowl winner will be within these 8 teams:

Falcons
Broncos
Packers
Steelers
Patriots
Chiefs
Raiders
Cowboys

I would say those same legit team numbers exist every year. We have had the best QB or top 3 QB in the league for almost 25 years now. I would say that the odds were in our favour to have more than 2 friggin' rings to show for it. Do I love that we win and am I spoiled? You are damn right, but man when the eventual suck happens I am really going to wish we did more when we had two of the biggest game changers in the league as our QBs.

That being said, let's look at your list and how many super bowls they've won in the last 25 years when we've had a top 2 or 3 QB.

Falcons - 0
Broncos - 3
Packers - 2
Steelers - 2
Patriots - 5
Chiefs - 0
Raiders - 0
Cowboys - 3

So basically we've had a top 2 or 3 QB every year (debatable but definitely top 5) for 25 years and we're the #4 team in super bowl rings. Isn't that damned close to where we should be at?

Unfortunately a team like the Patriots gives this false sense of it being easy to win a Super Bowl. When we look back in a few decades, maybe then people will appreciate the insane dominance that team has exhibited and appreciate it.

Winning a Super Bowl also takes good fortune and a little luck.

dfosterf (2h) : Nobody coming up with a keep, but at x amount
dfosterf (2h) : Trade, cut or keep
dfosterf (4h) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (4h) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (4h) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (4h) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (4h) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (4h) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
dfosterf (4h) : Laws of agency and definition of fiduciary responsibility
dfosterf (4h) : Jaire is open to a reduced contract without Jaire's permission
dfosterf (4h) : The agent would arguably violate the law if he were to tell the Packers
Zero2Cool (4h) : That someone ... likely the agent.
Zero2Cool (4h) : So, Jaire has not been offered nor rejected a pay reduction, but someone says he'd decline.
Zero2Cool (4h) : Demovksy says t was direct communication with someone familiar with Jaire’s line of thinking at that moment.
Zero2Cool (5h) : Demovsky just replied to me a bit ago. Jaire hasn't said it.
dfosterf (6h) : Of course, that depends on the definition of "we"
dfosterf (6h) : We have been told that they haven't because he wouldn't accept it. I submit we don't know that
dfosterf (6h) : What is the downside in making a calculated reduced offer to Jaire?
Zero2Cool (22h) : Packers are receiving interest in Jaire Alexander but a trade is not imminent
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Jalen Ramsey wants to be traded. He's never happy is he?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : two 1sts in 2022 and two 2nd's in 2023 and 2024

Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I am the Angel that gets visited.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Visiting Angels has a pretty good reputation
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : what
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : WINNING IT, not someone else losing it. The best victory though was re-uniting with his wife

Zero2Cool (10-Apr) : Guessing they probably knew. Did he have cast or something on?
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : Did they know that at the time or was that something the realized afterwards?

Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Spotting ball isn't changing, only measuring distance is, Which wasn't the issue.
