He was productive last year. This surely means Biegel is starting on PUP. Depth is still questionable behind Clay and Nick, and they are both fighting injuries that may end up nagging them for a weeks, so a move like this was almost necessary.

I only wish they saw CB the way they do OLB. Very happy with the aggression, though. Starting to wonder if Eliot or Brian aren't playing a bigger role behind the scenes?

Maybe Revis after his NE stint but I can't think of anybody else that would have been available recently that would make this team better. House has experience here before so that was a fine addition.

What has happened to General Manager Ted Thompson?

He has now signed more free agents in 2017 than he did in the past what 7 or 8 years?

Has he finally been directed to take part in free agency? Has he changed his philosophy? Has he been replaced by Eliott Wolf?

All in? Relative to past performance...sure. All in as in any other team? No.

People have to remember he let 7, I think, guys go this off-season. Those positions had to be replaced. We didn't sign many of our own for a big change. So, we let higher paying guys go and replaced them with lower paid guys and that's ALL IN? No.

Brooks is the only guy where we paid to improve. The rest we just paid less to replace.

Not sure Eliot or Brian aren't taking a more active role considering the health of our current general manager.
