I do appreciate his disconcerting honesty much more than MM's comforting dishonesty.

Doesn't bode well for 2017. If you don't know, that likely means it ain't good.

EDIT: I do think it's disgraceful to hear that from the DB coach. Not the honesty part but the fact it's true. This team got beaten badly in the pass game and had most of last year and all offseason to fix it and this is what we're down to a week and change before the opener? Just a brutal job of fixing the CB situation much like the defense as a whole but at least we're used to it by now.

Why is it disgraceful to say that? Not a single one of them has proven any thing, and all of them are so young where they could either go way up or amount to nothing. That isnt news to any of us or any of them. All we have is unknowns and everyone knows that. Nothing to get upset about.

Not disgraceful to say it, as I mentioned above, but, rather for the fact it's true. That's the disgrace. How it wasn't fixed better than it was when that's a major reason why we aren't good enough is beyond me.
