Stop, make it stop..

Former Packers running back Ahman Green has been arrested in Wisconsin after an allegation of child abuse. Paul Srubas of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports that the Brown County Sheriff's Office confirmed that Green was arrested and taken to the county jail. Per the website for the jail, Green is charged with Child Abuse-Intentionally Cause...

Here, I think Green is gonna get in some trouble for when he "popped" (his word) her, even if it was (as he said) hitting her ear with an open palm. As I don't believe the system/people take any hits to the head lightly.

That being said, she probably should of been punished for refusing reasonable chores (assuming the amount of chores was reasonable)... but not a hit to the head. Just my thoughts/opinions, not saying I'm right... as we clearly don't have all the details.

I think he's had an arrest for domestic violence in this area too.

Without witnesses, this sounds like a he said / she said case. One says it was abuse and the other says there was an accident.

Is the child is taking advantage of an accident to strike an adolescent blow at authority ?

Did Ahman loose his cool in dealing with his child ? If so such emotional scares can last a lifetime and he should be punished ?

The truth in such cases often does not come into play. The child's injury weights heavily in her favor, so Ahman will have to prove he is innocent . That's right folks, in America your guilty until proven innocent .

Good parents should never have to resort to getting physical with any child . There are other methods to ensure that the child obeys.

In Ahman's case I can't help but think that Ahman misspoke himself and the child could be taking advantage of the situation .

If Green is admitting to it (like the article claims), then why doubt him?

I am not saying Green is innocent. You have to be careful when you discipline your kids. They can make you so mad you see red.
Yesterday I watched my secretary do a slow burn as her 18 yo daughter posted on FB that she was hungry and there's nothing to eat in the house. Even without looking in the cupboard or frig I could come up with 10 things or more.
Thing is the girl wanted fast food instead of taking the time to make something herself. Part of her lame excuse was she works about 30 hours a week at a part time job so she's too tired to cook.
Teenagers can make even the most patient person lose their mind in out 0.65 seconds.
