I'll ask this question. why should the federal government own all this land rather than the states whose borders it lies within? Look east of the Mississippi and the feds own on average <5% of the land within the individual states, Look west and states have in some cases around 30% of their land federally owned to almost 85%.. This puts Western states at a disadvantage in that they are unable to collect property taxes or generate revenue off 20,30,50,85% of the land within their borders. This land should be given to those states to manage. If there is a national park or federal facility, fine let the feds keep ownership on that land, but give the rest back to the states like it is in the rest of the country..

Whatever benefit your idea of fairness to Western states gives; you have to weigh that against Koch Industries, Massey Coal, Exxon, Nestle [They water mine as well as provide delicious chocolate bars], et al. who will rape, pillage and sodomize the land for profit that they will NOT pay taxes on!!!!!

These corporate pigs will write off these profits in the form of mind numbing campaign contributions, providing trips, transportation and underhanded payments to state and local politicians and law enforcement so they look they other way on their rampant criminal behavior. They also take billions in compensation every year. Yes a million or 2 is used to by a boat or remodel the summer cottage in the Hamptons, these crumbs trickle down to the peasants. The rest is sheltered in off-shore accounts and dummy corporations.

This is how "trickle down" economics works...a trickle of the cash trickles to the peasants.

I reminded them of a citizen's civic duty to file a complaint against an attorney's license if they learn that an attorney is behaving in a way that brings disrepute on the legal profession.

Our democracy is in peril, we are at a tipping point.

Micheal Moore warned last year that if Trump is elected this will be our last Presidential election. If the people allow Trump to fire everyone investigating his Russian collusion; he is someone who is 100% above the law, who can do what he wants. Now in 3+ years; why cant he just cancel the elections and name himself Czar Trump.

FYI, Comey was doing as much actual investigating into the "collusion" as I have. He just gets the reports. You should be happy, if there has been something discovered over the last 8 months or however long this has been going on, he is no longer part of an active investigation so there is nothing preventing him from telling what he knows (unclassified).

It has been pathetic the twisting of the story the left has been doing. Trying to merge Sessions and Flynns legitimate contact with Russians into the "Collusion" story line. The left doesn't care if there is actually any evidence, they know if they can keep it in the news they can use it in the midterms.

Our democracy might be in Peril, but that is not coming from the direction you seem to think. It is coming from the left who have shown they are willing to vote for socialists.

Not that any of this has to do with Turning government land over to the states where it belongs.

So...I'm "cruel" to gays and native Americans? Tell me, oh wise one, where is ONE BIT of proof of the B.S. you state about me? Because I call sin SIN?
And native Americans....where did I say ANYTHING that was cruel to them??? I have had personal contact with native Americans. One of my Dad's good friends was a Lac Du Flambeau Indian, and we visited him for several years before he died. We spent several summers at his home and cottage on lake Pokegama. So, once again, you label me, with NO PROOF of the slander you throw around all the time.
YOU are the unaccepting person. If someone doesn't "goose step" with you and agree with everything you say, you just close your mind and ignore anything they say. Even if deep down you know you are wrong.
So much for the "loving, caring, all accepting liberal", hey?

You just label me, so that you can ignore any good points I make.
That's what I love about liberalism.....all the nasty things they write about me, they do all the time!
I'm unaccepting and judgemental.......read your own posts, then look in the mirror and repeat what you say about me to yourself!
You complain about the chip on my shoulder, but ignore the BEAM on YOURS.

Zero2Cool (29-May) : What did you do??
Zero2Cool (29-May) : Whoa
beast (29-May) : OMG the website is now all white, even some white on white text

Mucky Tundra (28-May) : Cooper stock=BUY BUY BUY
