They merged some time last year I believe.

If ILB is the pick in the 2nd round, then I'd be looking at Zach Cunningham. He's a tackling machine.

I'm certainly not going to complain for trading back with several good players still on the board but trading back to 33 where several teams will be coming at Ted. It's the best position he could possibly be in to squeeze teams for more than the pick is worth.
He's got the pick of several good players and has leverage with other GM's if they want in. What's not to like? Your best chance to succeed in any business is to put yourself in a position of power and pulling off having the 1st pick both Friday and Saturday certainly put Ted there.
Sit back and enjoy. Ted's got this.

Maybe I am one of the few but I am hoping the Packers trade back once more if it is only another 5-6 spots.

1. They can most likely get a starting caliber player at any of their positions of need at 38-40.
2. This allows the Packers other trade options later on, maybe even a trade up from pick 61 if there is another one of their guys still on the board in the 40s and 50s.

I was a bit miffed at first at the thought of losing a guy like Watt or Foster but it is what it is. I am excited to see what the Pack do with their new picks.

This is a deep draft but at some point in time you have to actually take players otherwise you will end up with 20 players from the 6th and 7th rounds. GB was close last year. Give me a couple of quality players and let's go. Grabbing 4th or 5th round players means the odds are stacked against you landing the kind of players who can change a game. Instead you end up with bodies who fill out your roster but don't really elevate the team's performance.

Pack have got a big time smoke screen going on right now. Reports are coming out that we're interested in a QB...

For a few years now, I have been saying, there is only so many positions on the roster for new guys, and every year we get a bunch of late picks that just end up replacing late round picks from a year or two earlier. With where the team is at, I would prefer fewer draft picks of higher quality and work on improving more of the top of the depth rather than filling in the bottom. Really the difference between a 6th-7th rounder and an UDFA isn't that much so we can always get bodies.

I almost think what I would like to see is the Packers being completely finished drafting tonight. I think if Ted works it we should be able to have 5 picks tonight which would be just fine with me.

I am hoping he doesn't use all these picks for bodies and instead uses them to trade up in rounds 2 and 3.

I talked to "Uncle Ted" to see what he's going to do. Here's what he had to say:
Cheesey: So Ted....what are your plans for the last 2 days of the draft?
Uncle Ted: Well Cheesey, I'll tell you if you PROMISE not to tell ANYONE!!!
Cheesey: I PROMISE!!!
Uncle Ted: I'm going to trade ALL my picks, so that I can get the last 12 picks in the seventh round!
Numbers numbers NUMBERS!!!!
Cheesey: At least you remain consistant.

And that's Cheesey's inside info!😝

Looks like the QB hype died down and/or teams weren't giving enough value to keep us from getting a polished and naturally gifted player at a position of need. Welcome to Green Bay, Kevin King!

Mucky Tundra (3-Jun) : @ByRyanWood How much did the injury affect him last fall? “A lot.”
Mucky Tundra (3-Jun) : @ByRyanWood Kenny Clark said he had foot surgery in January. Injured his foot in opener against Eagles and played through it all year.
Zero2Cool (3-Jun) : Golden is wearing guardian cap again. I bet he plays with it on too.
Mucky Tundra (3-Jun) : All the stuff I'm reading from Lions fans are pointing at his toe; he more or less has permanent turf toe in one of his big toes

Zero2Cool (28-May) : LaFleur on Watson: “Christian is doing outstanding. I would say he’s ahead of schedule.”
Martha Careful (28-May) : Bradshaw is a dumb ass cracker. I am so tired of his "aw shucks" diatribe. He should shrivel up and go away.
buckeyepackfan (28-May) : He wad all butt hurt because Aaron duped the media saying he was immunized.
buckeyepackfan (28-May) : Bradshaw needs to retire. He's been ripping on Rodgers ever since the covid crap. He was all hury
Zero2Cool (28-May) : Terry Bradshaw doesn't want Rodgers in Pittsburgh lol wow
Zero2Cool (27-May) : one day contract, which he also feels is pointless, but if Packers came to him, he would
