I see a trade out of the 1st round happening. If that is the case, I would hop in the 2nd they go with Quincy Wilson or Tyus Bowser.

I want the Mixon kid. Then in the second round I want a big, nasty road grader to plug in at RG. I want our offense to score 40 points a game.

Our corners were beat up all year last year, they aren't as bad as what we watched in Atlanta. And having House instead of Shields on IR should be a big plus.

Hitting the woman when he was a freshman might have been overlooked as just one of those things except for his over reaction when given a parking ticket just a few months ago.

That and Teddy doesn't seem to believe in drafting a RB in the 1st round even when given the chance.

Mixon doesn't seem to be Teddy's style. Who knows, since he is only 20 perhaps Teddy will do something surprising.

Having him in for a visit is the only thing that makes me think this way.

How would Packers fans feel about this selection if it did happen?

yooperfan , did you say that you were festering ? You might want to visit a Clinic .

As for Montgomery , he has shown that his talents extend beyond the WR position. I believe that he will have an even better year this year at the RB position . As for drafting a RB , IMO value can be found in the 4th round or in the free agents still floating around or that will become available.

If Mixon is available by GB's 4th Draft selection , I say give him a try and see what develops. I'm quite sure that Mixon must be fully aware that his behavior would be very closely monitored .

GB NEEDS TO DRAFT THE BEST AVAILABLE CB FIRST !!! [nohair]

As long as it's the best player they can get and couldn't get the same player by trading back, I am good with it.

I think it's stupid (I use stupid here because in Madden I would do this lol) to take the best available at a certain position because you scout for a reason.

You never know what your position of need is until it's too late, this is why you always draft the best players available. One day you could be loaded at WR and after two pre-season games you are down your WR1 and WR2 and you passed on DeAandre Hopkins to fill a "position of need" from freaking April.

DRAFT BEST PLAYERS AVAILABLE!!!

A good question is who the hell is that going to be? I am college talent ignorant so I couldn't tell ya, but screw it, GO PACK GO!!

I'll kill 2 birds with one post.

My all "name" team from 1st pick.

Round 1 Pick 29: Budda Baker, FS, Washington (B)
Round 2 Pick 29: Obi Melifonwu, SS, Connecticut (A+)
Round 3 Pick 29: JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR, Southern California (A-)
Round 4 Pick 27: Jessamen Dunker, OG, Tennessee State (A)
Round 5 Pick 28: Corn Elder, CB, Miami (Fla.) (A+)
Round 5 Pick 38 (COMP): James Conner, RB, Pittsburgh (A)
Round 6 Pick 28: Stevie Tu'ikolovatu, DT, Southern California (B+)
Round 7 Pick 29: Amba Etta-Tawo, WR, Syracuse (B+)

Budda Baker is my choice if Ted doesn't draft down.

Ted fineds someone in the top 5 of the 2nd round, then I see him trading out and taking T. J. Watt.

Zero2Cool (now) : I literally just said it.
packerfanoutwest (4m) : show us a scenario where Pack don't get in? bet you can't
Zero2Cool (5m) : Falcons, Buccaneers would need to win final two games.
Zero2Cool (6m) : Yes, if they win one of three, they are lock. If they lose out, they can be eliminated.
packerfanoutwest (15m) : as I just said,,gtheyh are in no matter what
Zero2Cool (21m) : Packers should get in. I just hope it's not 7th seed. Feels dirty.
packerfanoutwest (23m) : If packers lose out, no matter what, they are in
packerfanoutwest (24m) : both teams can not male the playoffs....falcon hold the tie breaker
packerfanoutwest (26m) : if bucs win out they win their division
beast (35m) : Fine, Buccaneers and Falcons can get ahead of us
packerfanoutwest (41m) : falcons are already ahead of us
beast (44m) : Packers will get in
beast (45m) : If Packers lose the rest of their games and Falcons win the rest of theirs, they could pass us... but not gonna happen
packerfanoutwest (50m) : they still are in the playoffs
packerfanoutwest (51m) : If Packers lose the remaining games,,,,at 10-7
Zero2Cool (2h) : We can say it. We don't play.
Mucky Tundra (3h) : But to say they are in is looking past the Saints
Mucky Tundra (3h) : That said, their odds are very favorable with a >99% chance of making the playoffs entering this week's games
Mucky Tundra (3h) : Packers are not in and have not clinched a playoff spot.
buckeyepackfan (4h) : Packers are in, they need to keep winning to improve their seed#.
Mucky Tundra (13h) : Getting help would have been nice, but helping ourselves should always be the plan
beast (13h) : Too bad Seahawks couldn't beat Vikings
bboystyle (14h) : We just need to win Monday night and were in
Mucky Tundra (17h) : Or ties, but let's be real here
Mucky Tundra (17h) : Other scenario was Falcons+Rams losses
Mucky Tundra (17h) : Needed a Falcons loss for a Seahawk loss to clinch
buckeyepackfan (17h) : Am I wring in saying if Tge Vikings beat The Seahawks, The Packers clinch?
Mucky Tundra (21-Dec) : Agreed; you stinks
Zero2Cool (21-Dec) : I'm not beating anyone. I stinks.
Mucky Tundra (21-Dec) : rough injury for tank dell. guy can't catch abreak
beast (21-Dec) : So far the college playoffs have sucked... One team absolutely dominates the other
beast (21-Dec) : Well even if you weren't positive towards a guy, you wouldn't nessarily want to tell the media that (if they don't know about it)
Martha Careful (21-Dec) : I think MLF want Love to look past the end half issues, and feel good about his play. Our coaches generally keep a very positive tone.
beast (21-Dec) : I think a great running game will do that for most QBs
packerfanoutwest (21-Dec) : Coach Matt LaFleur has said quarterback Jordan Love is playing the best football of his career.
beast (21-Dec) : Oh, that's how you keep beating buckeye, with cheating
Zero2Cool (20-Dec) : There is a rule that if your name starts with 'b' you lose 15 points. Hey, I don't make the rules, I just enforce them!
wpr (20-Dec) : and then there is Beast. Running away with it all.
beast (20-Dec) : As of tonight, 3 way tie for 2nd in Pick'em, that battle is interesting!
beast (20-Dec) : Lions vs Vikings could be the main last game as it could determine division winners or #1 vs #2 seed
Mucky Tundra (20-Dec) : Or if KC needs to win for the #1 seed
Mucky Tundra (20-Dec) : Right now it looks like the only prime worthy games are Det-Minny and KC-Denver (if Denver can clinch a wild card spot)
Mucky Tundra (20-Dec) : The entirety of week 18 being listed as flex is weird
Zero2Cool (19-Dec) : Matt LaFleur today says unequivocally "Ted Thompson had nothing to do with the drafting of Jordan Love."
Zero2Cool (19-Dec) : Apparently, the editing is what pieces comments together. That Ted thing ... fake news.
Zero2Cool (19-Dec) : LaFleur "opportunity that Ted Thompson thought was too good to pass up"
Zero2Cool (19-Dec) : Jordan Love pick was Ted Thompson's idea.
Mucky Tundra (19-Dec) : Kyle Shanahan on signing De'Vondre Campbell as a FA last offseason: “We obviously made a mistake.”
packerfanoutwest (19-Dec) : Alexander’s last season with GB
Martha Careful (18-Dec) : if I were a professional athlete, I would probably look to see who the agent is for Kirk Cousins and then use him
