What do you think about this?

One thing I always loved about Schneider when he was with the @packers when I was there. He was always honest to a fault. For example...

...late in '07 season after @AaronRodgers12 lit up Dallas on Thanksgiving,John told me "no more is Favre retiring or not, we got our guy."

Well....it's rare to have a guy be HONEST in this day and age.
Popinga said what he was told back then, but it obviously wasn't for the public to see back then. It's been 9 seasons since then. I bet there are a lot of statements made that we never know about.

Successful coaches and GMs are always honest; but they're extremely cautious about publicly airing anything that might be considered dirty laundry. As a fan sometimes it's frustrating not knowing some of this stuff; it'd be so nice to hear McCarthy say, yea Barclay really sucked today...but the bottom line is that loose lips creates discord and likely makes the team worse.

Schneider is publicly tossing Sherman under the bus, he should be keeping his big mouth shut. Schneider is a Napoleon-complexed attention seeking well below averaged GM that drinks A TON. The GB press would eat him alive.
