Man....I miss the "old days", when players played for the love of the game, and not just for the biggest paycheck. There is NO "loyalty" in today's NFL.
Not with the players, OR the teams.

I've heard a number of times businesses complaining how employees aren't loyal to employers anymore and trying to figure out why, and the answer is pretty clear that most businesses aren't that loyal either...

Basically the overall system rewards movers and shakers... Not loyalty, so both sides have stopped being loyal.

Back in the "old days", the owners of businesses was usually on site, and worked right beside the workers. So there was a "family" feeling.
I remember the company my Dad worked at, he saw the owner every day. And the guy threw a big family picnic, with pony rides for the kids, music, a miniature train the kids could ride and entertainment and LOTS of food!
But today, most companies are owned by corporations that don't give a darn about the workers. Thus, the workers don't care either.
